Very rewarding when you get to the top with lovely views of Sigiriya and the surrounding countryside but it's pretty tough climbing at the top. Wouldn't recommend doing it in flip flops or sandals like the locals!

Same height as Sigiriya, so same lovely views, but a fraction of the entry price. Easy walk with a small clamber over rocks at top. For people of average fitness.
