"Receptionist and restaurant staff are friendly and good manner. Double room with king size bed is very spacious, clean bedroom, plenty toilet rolls, full size kettle with tea/coffee and good quality cotton bath sheets. Slept well. Quiet location. English breakfast is good and a good selection of cereals. Wow! Their chef cooked perfect poached eggs. Clean restaurant. The only thing I don't like is their tiny soap for washing hands and no hair conditioner. I just used my own shower gel to wash hands. Hairdryer is a bit slow but we will still stay there again. Overall is good value for money. "

"Everything was excellent, spotlessly cleaned daily, well stocked tea tray daily. Friendly and professional staff. Restaurant food and breaksfasts were top rate too. Lovely atmosphere and grounds were great for our dog"

"Room was clean, warm and spacious. Bed was cosy. Really enjoyed the meal - service was fab - and there was a great choice of keg and cask ales. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend."
