Don’t waste your money here. The room was dirty and everything sticky. Half of the light bulbs in the room are burnt out and despite being promised they would replace them it never happened. Service was poor at the restaurant. It appears they make their money from the tour buses that bring tourists for lunch and then time on the beach. They have jet ski rentals and water rides, parasailing etc. so The hotel business appears to be an after thought. The beach here is littered with plastic and debris that the tide brings in and despite the efforts of the various locals to keep the beach clean it is still unsightly and the plastic that is removed it is just piled up along the perimeter of the beach. It is too bad because it could be so beautiful here. It is also a good distance from any amenities that the other parts of the island offer. We were booked for 5 nights and checked out after 2. We relocated to another hotel in a different area on the island and had a very enjoyable stay. The beach here did not have the garbage issue.

Even though it was a gorgeous beach the amount of rubbish has damaged the beauty and no one seemed bothered to clean it up. Guess it is the same problem for most beach in Vietnam. So sad.

The beach house will charm you.
The beach house has its charms, but not all will embrace them as much as I did. The bed is very comfortable and with the ice cold air conditioning you will sleep so good. The shower has its issues, as the water pressure is not so good, and the water has a way of leaking outside the shower. The breakfast is good, although very limited in selection. The food is typical of tourist food, thus lacking any real flavor. The price is reasonable, given the beach is one of the best in phu qouc. Stay here while you can, I’m sure it’s onky a matter of time before the hotel next to the beach house swallows it up.

Totally unique. The Beachhouse
Beautiful beach and beach house. Slightly delpidated and cash starved by European owners. Vietnamese family that run it are delightful although not yet fully understanding of the western ideals of hospitality. If you like ramshackled quirky bijou and I do. Then this is a wonderfully unique place for you

Great hotel on the beach but that's it
When we arrived they couldn't find our reservation and I had to show them my expedia confirmation to get the sea view room because they were putting us in the back rooms which are not recommended. Far from the beach and on the street. When we got into the room the bathroom was dirty. The bath tub had bugs in it and the shower looked like it had never ever been cleaned. The sink also had a funky yellow stain on it. I asked them to clean it but it still wasn't very clean. Whatever it was clean enough to shower. Or so we thought. The shower didn't work and it also didn't drain. It took them 2 days to get a plumber that ended up flooding the whole bathroom. Also when they go into your room to clean they always leave your door unlooked or open with your valuables inside. Good luck opening the door. The lock or the key is messed up. The window in the bathroom also didn't close and when the guy came to fix he spent 20 min squirting gasoline on the hinges. Our balcony was nice facing the beach but on the side you were looking at the public toilets. The owner, who is the only person who spoke english, said we could pay our bill at the end of our stay for everything that we spend at the restaurant even in US dollars. The only problem was that she only wanted $100 bill or your exchange rate went down 4% from the 2% she was already taking. Exchange your money at the airport. Do not stay here. Visit the beach on your own it is worth it. The restaurant is fantastic eat there on your visit

Perfect location, great value for money!
The hotel is rustic and lovely, it is built right on the sand within few steps from the water of the beautiful Sao Beach. The room was perfect, very cozy with a huge bathroom and an amazing terrace facing the sea! Overall great stay! I would recommend to go there just if they have availability of one of the two beach view room, as the other three are older and facing the parking, not recommendable.

Scammers
We booked a sea-view room for two nights with a strict cancellation policy and payment in advance. Once we arrived the sea-view room was occupied so we were offered to stay in one of the windowless rooms in the backyard of the property right next to public toilets with a 5$ refund. When we refused, after a lot of discussions they agreed to refund our booking however with a smaller amount than we paid through hotels.com, so in the end, they did earn some money, even though we didn't stay there. Horrible service and no respect to guests. The property in general wasn't very appealing - everything looked quite dirty and worn down, the sea-view room is located on the 1st floor, so do not expect direct access to beach, the rest of the rooms are placed behind the big seafront building, so has no relation to beach itself. Glad we didn't stay there in the end!

バスタブを使いたくて予約したにもかかわらず、バスタブの水道の蛇口が壊れていて水が出ず使えなかった。シャワーは水しか出ず、お湯は出なかった。シャンプーが空で中身がなく、ボディソープとリンスだけ置いてあった。布団などは砂っぽく、清潔でなかった。場所は分かりにくいが、ビーチに出かけるには立地がとても良かった。部屋には鍵がかからなかった。
