This place was a piece of paradise in the bustling city. Relaxing green gardens and a crystal clear swimming pool, spacious room, friendly and helpful staff, all in a great location close to everything. Couldn’t ask for more.

Cozy place in central Phnom Penh

A cozy quiet place centrally situated in Phnom Penh close to the royal Palace, National Museum etc. They have a nice pool, a garden space with restaurant and nice atmosphere, and really good deals for food & drinks. The cost was also lower than similar hotels close by.

I liked this little hotel a lot. It’s located in a beautiful building with high ceilings. The stuff were all extremely helpful and friendly. I recommend this place and hope to come back one day. I took tuktuks to go to the palace etc but it’s also in a walking distance. In the open air bar you can get a beer or another drink in the shade of a tree.

We stayed in the cheapest room on the ground floor near the lobby. It is a fairly simple room set up but works. The bar area is great and the staff were very friendly. There was some music from the bar but not too bad, we didnt stay in the weekend.

Great place for a citytrip

We enjoyed our stay. Before we arrived, our contact was really easy via chat. Our room was spacious and clean. The outside area was atmospheric and the pool was clean. The staff ánd owner very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located, on walking distance of sightseeing locations such as the independence monuments and buzzing area Bassac Lane. The hotel itself is ideally located on a quiet street, with an ATM and supermarkets on the corner. Restaurants, cafes and shops on walking distance. We would gladly stay again!

My stay at The Birdcage Boutique in Phnom Penh was absolutely delightful. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality from the staff. What truly stood out was how each staff member made a genuine effort to get to know me on a personal level. This created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made my stay truly memorable. The ambiance of the hotel was charming and unique, with tastefully decorated rooms that provided a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. Overall, I cannot recommend The Birdcage Boutique highly enough.

Simple, unpretentious place. Superb staff, always ready to help, even for the small request, e.g., getting a tuk tuk or offering advice for sightseeing. Phnom Penh is a sprawling city. There really isn’t a center. The Birdcage Boutique is near the esplanade on the Mekong River and the Night Market. The pool is refreshing, especially in the morning. Eggs, toast, jam, and juice cost $4.

Nice & chill place to stay

The hotel is like a mini oasis in busy Phnom Penh. It’s a good central location. I didn’t try the restaurant but the menu looked nice. The bar area is friendly and inviting. Really liked the pool, even sharing it with 4children (haha). Room was quiet & comfortable.
