The room was really clean and the programs on TV varied. It’s a good location as well. The only complaint is not even about the hotel itself but about the Chinese guests that were really noisy and disrespectful. Great hotel though.

Excellent roof top bar/ restaurant.
This hotel provides a great service and our room was excellent. The roof top bar & restaurant gave us a perfect place to wind down after our busy day trips each evening.

Staff is awesome
My stay was great. The staff was awesome. The bed was alittle too hard for my taste. but aside from that everything was cool. My room had a cool view to the city and the view from the sky bar was awesome as well. The only thing I hated was the fact the wifi was not the best in my room. I had to come to the lobby or the sky bar to get the best fast and strong reception.

The hotel room was spacious and clean. The hotel is not in great location though you can hire tuk tuks to go anywhere and they are not expensive. Good for a night stay if you have flight next day. Room service was not great and staff at reception are very unprofessional.

Samnang laor is dating best!
It is a beautiful hotel. The staff are very good and the breakfast buffet is fantastic. The rooms are very big with lots of space. For the price I rate it 9 out of 10. We really loved our stay there. Would go back any day

A nice quite are
2 little blips, the tuk tuk did not turn up and my name was not on quest list. An admin error BUT the room was huge clean and great. NO complaints at all. The trips were arranged with the same driver, ask for TUK TUK 4. He is great.

Great Hotel just outside city centre.
We had an upgrade on our room which was amazing. The room was very large with a big ensuite. We were on the top floor overlooking the city. The room was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Close to everything.
Room was dirty, was not sweep behind furniture, found crickets in our room. Bathroom had a foul odor. Sheets were stained and pillows did not smell clean.

Great choice
The staff is friendly and helpful. They will help you with any tours you want or transportation to other cities. They speak english. Free Breakfast was very good and the view from the restaurant if great. Highly Recommended.

For the most part we enjoyed our experience. Within walking distance to multiple areas including the Genocide museum. The biggest negative was the air conditioning. It did not work that great - I woke up sweating on several occasions. Other than that, enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was pretty good with lots of options.

Well priced and lovely staff
The hotel was a great place to start for all of our expeditions around Phnom Penh and a little out of the city which was great , The whole city has a vibrant feel and action happening around every corner ,

Fantastic hotel in quieter part of the city
We had a nice surprise upon entering our hotel room which was huge, super clean, and had a balcony! The value was outstanding. Included breakfast too! My guess is that this hotel is geared more toward business travellers, as it was a bit far away from the action and the hustle and bustle of street vendors and food. Not an issue if you don't mind maybe a couple bucks for a tuk tuk to where you need to go.

Good hotel to stay.
I stayed for 2 nights on 4th Jan, 18. A quiet location with no disturbance at night. Breakfast menu was quite good except the coffee was never hot always. I am upset that they promised to pick us up from the airport but never turn up and did not bother to inform us. I have to find my way to the hotel by ourselves. Toiletries soap, toilet papers and shampoos are insufficient and should be improved.

Cigarette buds under the bed frame
Upon arrival at the hotel check in desk the hotel staff said the room that we booked with confirmation was not available for us. He wanted to put us in their cheap guesthouse nearby. We declined and after arguing with them they finally put us in the room that we booked for and confirmed. I think they just wanted to put us in their cheaper place. Either way the hotel was not clean. My slippers got under the bed frame and when I retrieved them. A bunch of cigarette buds came with it. We will not use this hotel again for our next visit.

Nice Hotel close to city centre
Well, I have been there for a couple of days in a double room which was quite spacious and honestly, I can say that the hotel looks really quiet and clean as well, while the staff is always available to help you anytime. Even the restaurant of the Hotel is pretty good serving delicious dishes and cocktails till 10 pm. Finally, the location of the Hotel is not so far away from the city centre and is strategical for reaching all the tourist places in around 10/15 mins by Tuk Tuk.

The staff at Samnang Laor were very helpful and kind. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was delicious! I would choose this hotel again next time I am in town. The only negative was the location is a bit remote for walking to restaurants etc.

Large room in nice hotel
No problems with the hotel. Only stayed one night so did not have much time to explore the area around it, but I feel the location may let it down a bit. But there was always at least 1 tuk tuk outside.

Delightful and helpful staff. The only negative was the hoarde of rude mainland Chinese guests, but this was not the hotel's fault. All the Khmer people we met were gentle and friendly.

Our room was very spacious, clean and had a balcony. It was very clean, the staff were very very helpful with checking in and getting us a tuktuk etc. Breakfast was also very good. Great hotel in a great location not too far from the Main Street.

The room we had was a great size, clean and tidy. You will need to catch a Tuk Tuk to get into the city or Riverside. However the local area has some great local restaurants. Overall a good stay.

sadly l can not review this hotel .as l did not stop there ,due to the fact when l got to ,the hotel ,they said it was over booked , and so moved me to this dumpy little hotel. at the time, on arrival l was very ill. l will never book with expedia again! l also will go social media, to write about my experience.

Next time I will stay elseware.
I felt that there was a lot that could have been improved in this hotel, the room although spacious was virtually bare with only one pictur e on the wall as decoration. The door to the balcony was locked light switches were some distance from the bed, there was no table to stow a suitcase. The dinner menu lacked choice. The staff that were training in the downstairs coffee shop were most friendly and courtious, however front desk staff were unable to place a booking for me and a day was waisted untill I completed the booking myself. I felt that only tour groups were welcomed here and the noise they created and the buses that blocked access to the main entrance were a frustration.

Lovely hotel, a bit out of the way
The hotel was really lovely, staff helpful and rooms big and clean. It was near tuol spent museum but other than that there wasn't much nearby. Not a problem of your happy to take a taxi to most places!

Deluxe Room is not 40 m2
I booked the 35 m2 Superior Room here, upon check-in, they informed me that they upgraded me to the 40 m2 Deluxe Room. The room was actually more like 25 m2. At night, it's a quiet neighborhood and not a whole lot going on.

Just stayed there so I had a place to shower on an all day stay. Location was not great. Staff charged me for water they told me was free from the mini bar. Hotel was used by hookers for hourly use.

Ornate Oppulance Like Staying in a Temple
Amazing hotel, just a little out the way bit with the free pushbike they lent you the main commercial and nightlife area was just a 10min cycle away. The only downside was yet again no hot water but I am getting used to this in Cambodia.
