On a quiet street close to coffee shops and restaurants. Near Chinatown, which I liked to explore. Convenient location to get around. The place was spacious and clean. There are no lobby restrooms but there is a luggage storage if you need.

A hotel should have a tv even if its roku. No blackout blinds just pure sunlight bright and early was awful. And the pillows were like a cloud of nothing

I absolutely relished the serene and 'home sweet home' ambiance exuded by the rooms. They exude a sense of relaxation that's hard to come by in many hotels. What truly sets them apart are the thoughtful details infused into every nook and cranny. The fully-equipped kitchen, complete with pots, pans, and even basic condiments, adds an extra layer of convenience. It's a delightful touch that allows guests to effortlessly whip up their own meals after a quick trip to the nearby grocery store, making it an ideal option for those looking to save some money without compromising on quality. The rooms themselves are adorned with magnificent decorations, further enhancing the overall experience. Needless to say, I'll definitely be choosing this hotel again for my next trip to the city.

Fantastic location! A short walk for our concert plans at Union Transfer & day at The Barnes Foundation. We loved the option to keep luggage stored after checkout. Would highly recommend!

I loved the Hive Room - super comfy with a surprisingly good view of the city. It was the perfect option for two travelers. Quiet hours aren’t enforced well though, and people (and their two dogs) staying in a neighboring room were loud well past 2:30 am.

Let me start by saying, the property owners were very quick to respond to my questions. The property was very clean, essentials provided in the Kitchenette, bed was comfortable, towels were provided. PARKING SUCKS! I booked back in October and no where on the site did it explain you have to book onsite parking in advance and there are only 4 spots available. When I arrived I called the phone number and they explained the parking spots were all booked so I’d have to park at a lot just up the block. If I would’ve known that I would’ve reserved on October when I booked the room. PRICING FOR WHAT YOU GET IS TOO PRICEY. While this was a nice room, there was an extended stay place across the street that was significantly less money for just as great a room and they had an abundance of parking. I noticed after looking online in the area there were more budget friendly options and more convenient. OVERALL PLEASANT STAY

Parking on site. The building and apartment was secure and clean. The tea provided was a nice touch and needed. I loved the whole concept of how they designed the building and apartment. The coffee shop down the street was excellent as well.

Right around the corner from Underground Arts which is why we came! Super easy to get a train from the airport to the hotel. Got off at Jefferson Station and it put us right by Reading Terminal Market. They have loads of dining and shopping there and is about a 10 min walk to the hotel. The room is nice, quiet, and clean. Highly recommend for a short visit.

This was a true oasis for my daughter and myself. Moving her into an apartment from out of town and none of her stuff had arrived, we found comfort and a good night’s sleep for a very reasonable price . Thank you!

I liked the easy check in and the luggage storage after check-out if you are staying in the city the rest of the day. Well kept facilities and a great breakfast restaurant a short distance away. We will definitively stay here again later this fall.

property fine but stated that would send access information 48 hours before arrival. Actual time was about 5 hours before arrival, leading to some concern that it would not be sent at all. A few yeas ago had arranged a rental in another city in an apartment but could not even find the property and had to make other arrangements at the last minute, which was awkward.

Highly recommend this place to anyone! Such a great location with so many walkable options nearby. The building is so clear and the room has everything that you need. The communication was great. I will definitely be staying here again!

The room was ok and I was hoping for more. The use of a kitchenette and a fridge and microwave was a good thing to have. As well as the accommodations for extra towels and the use of the laundry room was helpful. But other than that, there is room for improvement. For one, the communication with the virtual staff on some of my requests was slow and they didn't seem to double check the emails used from hotels.com was entered in correctly on their end, hence a delay on receiving my hotel access information and storage information. Two, Room needs some other amenities such as a radio alarm clock and a monitor/ TV at least for the guest to use during the down time we may have during our visit and to drown out or use as ambient room noise. Also Three, even although hotel has a noise policy, it seems useless if I can still hear all the water pipes and furniture moving (chairs and doors closing) throughout the visit (day and night) due to the lack of insulation of the pipes and walls as well as the exposure of the pipes and ceiling. Felt concern that the ceiling or exposed pipes will leak on me every time the unit above me flushed or showered and can't really make stink about it as I'm visiting. A guest should be able to rest and enjoy their visit without being disturbed by fellow neighbors. Also cleaning staff could do a bit better. Upon turning over my sheeting for bed on day 1, found a long strand of hair on the sheets I also was not expecting exposed cemented floors

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at the Kestrel! It is close to the metro station and therefore very close to everything downtown. We were able to completely navigate the downtown area quite easily without a car. It's also walking distance to Reading Terminal Market, Macy's, and City Hall. The room was very clean and had everything we needed.

Great Location Near China Town - Center City
We had a wonderful stay. Centrally located, well appointed and the coffee press and grinds were amazing. As mentioned in other reviews, the sheer curtains do not block the city street lights or morning sun. We still highly recommend this apartment yet be aware.

It's like staying at at your friend's super-clean, green loft. The ins & outs are all electronic -- a whiff of hipster lockdown. After dark, the muslin curtains are not private (if that sort of thing bothers you.) I love the scene from the bed: NOT A TV!! Good coffee to brew but no milk in the fridge.

Kestrel Hotel -- a lovely space
I loved the space- it was clean, comfortable (except for details below), well laid out, attention given to all details, and the notebook with instructions was very helpful. My only complaints were that there was so much light pollution coming into the room at night that it would have been great to have shades on all the windows (there were curtains on some of them). Even wearing an eye shade, the room was bright. The room was also hot and maybe I didn't give the heating/cooling system enough time to work, but the (very cozy) comforter was too warm, and just the sheet too cold, for sleeping. A lighter blanket would have been appreciated. But I would still recommend the hotel. It was very quiet, the location was convenient, and all details of a visit well thought through. Since there is no one staffing the building on site, it would also be helpful to have contact information more easily accessible.

Die Unterkunft war super! Alles sauber, schön eingerichtet. Wirklich seinen Preis Wert. Den einzigen abzug, den ich machen muss, wie man an den Zugang der Türe kommt. Der wird einem nicht einen Tag oder so vorher gemailt, sondern ich musste Mühsam nachfragen wie dieser lautet. Wir hatten kein Internet, was die Sache schwer machte. Ich musste mir extra ein Internetpaket kaufen, um an den Zugangscode zu kommen.
