"I’m a seasoned solo traveler and I journeyed to Philadelphia over Memorial Day weekend to do some historical exploring! I had a fantastic time (despite the rain…lol) and I could NOT have been happier with my choice of lodgings! Oh my goodness, the staff was so nice, friendly and accommodating! I had made a couple of special room requests and the staff fulfilled them both! A top floor room with a view of the Benjamin Franklin bridge! I SO enjoyed that view every morning and night! I had also asked about checking in early and checking out late and they worked to provide BOTH options for me - although I only ended up requiring the latter. But more than that, they were so, so nice to me! (Which is really meaningful when you’re a female traveling independently!) By the time I departed - Qua, Earl and Chris O. all felt more like friends than hotel staff…I can’t thank them enough for their genuine kindnesses and fantastic personalities! Additionally, I was super excited to be able to refill my water bottles in the lobby throughout my stay…and my bed and pillow (I really wanted to re-home that pillow!) were extraordinarily comfortable! It was truly a home away from home. And SO CONVENIENTLY located! If you’re visiting to explore the historical sites - look no further! You’ll be in the heart of them all!
