"Staff was welcoming upon arrival, the room was clean, beds comfortable. The room had plenty of storage areas, TV was a snap to work (which can't be said of many places!) and did I mention the bed was comfortable :) The coffee maker was easy to use. Bathroom amenities were great and loved the soft close toilet! Loved the size of the mini fridge in the room...usually don't get one that big and it was useful to us. Didn't get to the lounge this trip, but saw plenty of people who looked they were having a good time! We didn't know The Dexter existed and we are very happy that we found this gem!"

"The on-site staff was very helpful and the property is very well maintained. The only small issue is that they have an ice machine but no ice bucket. We were provided with a plastic ice bag, but the only place to put it was in the bathroom sink."

"The renovations were very nice making the rooms feel more luxurious. The balcony was delightful. We were able to witness the most beautiful sunrise. One negative was that the body wash and conditioner were both empty making for a less than desirable way to shampoo and shower. An oversight, I'm sure, but nonetheless inconvenient. Overall it was a very nice clean room."

"The Leland Lodge is a step back to a quieter time. Beautiful grounds abutting a private golf course Make for quiet nights and peaceful views. The property is impeccably maintained-very clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Leland is a picturesque town with good restaurants and access to loads of outdoor activities. There is a sandy beach on Lake Lelanau just a short walk from the lodge. I would definitely return for a longer stay in the future. My only complaint is I was surprised to find there was not an elevator as most rooms were on the second floor-unfortunate for this day and age."
