"We had a great stay at Quinta do Espirito Santo. We hosts are fantastique and full of insight. This is not a traditional hotel, but you get to stay at a fantastique old house with great history and athmosphere. The premises have cats, chickens, ducks and dogs. Would recommend a stay here if you want something out of the ordinary. "

"It is located right near the center of the city, which means it is walking distance to many stores, restaurants and places of interest. The hotel is excellently designed to exude a sense of calm and relaxation at all times. The decor throughout the hotel is beautiful and very thoughtfully arranged with a great sense of colour, texture and a unique experience overall. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. They are great to even have a quick chat with. I loved the indoor and outdoor...

"The staff was great but this is definitely not a full service hotel...it has a ton of character as it's in an old manor house with very pretty grounds and close proximity to the water. Great breakfast and comfortable enough but it would be nice if there were a bar/restaurant in the hotel - while the closest restaurant is probably a 20 minute walk away, it's not really walkable. I walk everywhere but got halfway to town and turned around as I didn't feel safe walking at night due to the narrow,...
