Beautifully reformed property in a classical building. Comfortable bed, great air-conditioning, and a large bathroom. The owner, Luigi, is a great host. This was my second stay at La Casa di Tocco, and I will stay there again in the future.

What a fantastic place, owners very welcoming and room was lovely. A lot of thought has gone into restoring this house into a hotel. Lovely feel about it. Clean, good food and very nice people

Rifugio della Rocca Calascio is a stunning place with breathtaking views and a medieval atmosfere. The hospitality of the host is exeptional, and the local cousine is delicious. We higly recommend Rifugio della Rocca Calascio to anyone who loves mountains.

This was the best family holiday we’ve ever had and we’ve stayed at some incredible 5* resorts around the world in the past. Ciavolich is the perfect base to explore beautiful Abruzzo (you will definitely need a car to do this) and in Carla and Paola the winery has 2 absolute gems who made our entire trip. Their breakfasts and hospitality are nothing short of amazing and their generosity with their time, incredible local knowledge and clear love for the place that they live was something we...

Beautiful surroundings, very friendly staff, rooms are the actual original houses of the village and the whole concept of local food/products is simply genius.
Very quiet no cars or any noise. I will go back

Difficult to know where to start !
Awesome location, fabulous room great breakfast and terrific service. I have run out of superlatives.
Roberto and Giuseppe were extremely good and informative, pretty much the Sulmona Tourist office.
Would visit Sulmona again just to stay here.

Best hotel we’ve stayed during our trips to Abruzzo. Beautiful inside and out. Friendly and very proficient staff who made us welcome (not always the case with English speakers in Abruzzo). The food was great too - we had an exceptional dinner. Great value compared to others.
