"Among the very few hotels in Västervik, this one is maybe the only one that deserves attention. The scary looking building and the dark history should not fool you, it's very modern and tastefully renovated to sort of alternative hotel. The larger rooms are quite OK, not claiming much luxury but very well furnished and super comfortable. The staff is great! The breakfast is standard but very good and quite enjoyable, as well as the common spaces around. Really interesting place, absolutely...
