"This was our very favorite stay of our entire Scotland trip.
Helen and Tim have created something really special at Gulabin Lodge.
We loved the proximity to hiking and the amazing facilities.
It was such a good experience that we will be booking here again the next time we visit."

"Very nice place to stay. Local bus picks up right outside on the street. Taxis are also easy to call or the front desk will help call for one. Rainy days may delay taxis.
Very good laundry facilities onsite along with a nice restaurant.
Only thing I missed was a hair dryer but it has everything else including great workout facilities."
"I stayed for 3 nights while attending my sons university graduation. I loved the location of this property a quick walk away from Church of the Holyrood and Stirling Castle. The walk into the city center is 5 minutes downhill. The hotel is located in an old School house so I was fascinated by the building. There is no air conditioning in the rooms so it was a bit warm at nights but that was not unexpected. The meals in the restaurant were excellent."
"Not as nice as some other Mercure hotels I have stayed at. Bit disappointing that you had to pay to park there and the room seemed a bit on the small side."
"The Stirling Court hotel on the university of Stirling Campus was a quiet location. It was a good restaurant even if some of the staff seem rather brusque because we were late .
I had left without my phone to walk round the loch so was unable to call them. I apologies several times but the person didn't hear she had broken record syndrome and just kept saying you should have called if you were going to be late. I almost gave your table away.
I noted throughout the meal there were several empty tables so not clear who she was going to give the table to!!
Apart from the restaurant incident it was a pleasant stay."
"Our overall experience of this hotel was great. Highlights were: the amazing food we had for dinner. A great deal of effort in both flavours and presentation ensured that every course was delicious. The food looked high-end and the service was excellent. The dining room is also beautiful, tasteful and full of character.
The hotel itself is lovely, charming and characterful, with lots of landscaped grounds for our wee dog to explore.
Our room (in the Riverside building) was comfortable and well-appointed, and had a balcony with a view of the River Tay. The room (and this building) was a little tired, but the hotel made us aware of their intentions to renovate, so this can be forgiven, and is more than made up for by the fantastic attitude of the staff, who were friendly and attentive, and the incredible food. We will definitely visit again."
"The hotel itself was very nice in a great location but parking is lacking - you have to park in the nearby council parking which is a pain when you had loads of bags and comes at a cost (although hotel does provide some compensation). Room was very nice and clean - bar and staff were very good and breakfast was nice."
