This was a great find. Owner was very helpful and engaging. Excellent provisions for breakfast, both in terms of quality and quantity. Very quiet and spacious. Abundance of wildlife to see on the veranda. Great shower and laundry useful. Only negative being zero WiFi although very good 4G available. Photos don’t do it justice.

It was located in the country amongst trees and paddocks, so quiet and peaceful.
The owners are so friendly and accommodating. We were greeted with a fresh loaf of home made bread and some home made biscuits, along with fresh milk and apples from the orchard. The cottage is beautiful and the birds and wildlife exactly what we needed.
Absolutely amazing place- SO private and relaxing!
A truly fantastic place to spend our last night in Tassie- will definitely be back. Chris- you do such an AWESOME job as hostess!!
A lovely retreat tucked away in the bush. Very clean and had everything we needed. It was great to be able to take our dog with us too.
We were greeted on arrival with a freshly baked loaf of bread which was a lovely touch.
Would definitely stay again.
Beautiful old building. Wonderfully restored. Great locations and wonderful hosts

This pretty little cottage was beautifully situated in the forest and very comfortable. I would recommend this for both families and couples, and it was great to have a yard for our dog.

Niice propertie and the people how run it the onlt thing was no salt or pepper and the dvd did not work
friendly, private and comfortable, the cottage feels warm as nanna's house !The fridge was stocked with staples consisting of Local gourmet produce -ashgrove milk , spreyton juice and homemade jams . the pet alpacas were a hit with the kids, and the spacious grounds and gardens were relaxing and beautiful .
Lovely little cottage set in a beautiful landscape. Very reasonably priced, spaceous, well equipped and the hospitality was second to none-there was even freshly baked bread waiting for us!
What a fantastic stay at Glenbrook House and Cottage. We arrived late at the hotel but they turn on the lights for us and ready for us to jump straight to bed. We reserved the hotel after having a bad experience in Burnie but it was worth driving back to Penguin.
We spent two nights at this lovely B&B. We were well catered for at all times and the hosts went to every effort to make us feel comfortable. I would definitely return.
Great experience, would have loved to stay longer. The hosts were amazing. The room is very spacious, the ensuite very tiny (not good for XL guests).
The environment is just beautiful, it's common to see wildlife, very peaceful and amazing scenery. If you wish to get away from it all, that's the place to be.
You'll need a car to reach Glenbrook but the short drive takes you to a beautiful setting. Barbara is the perfect host and just what I needed after a special day walking Mt Dial!
Facilities: Above average; Value: Great deal; Service: Go the extra mile; Cleanliness: Beautiful;
So close to town but you could have been miles from anywhere.
