"Indeed a wonderful stay, very helpful staff and a nice bungalow for me and my daughter and our 4 day visit to Gili Air. Close to the beach, bike-rental in the front shop and free snorkeling gear available at the reception desk.
Highly recommended for a stay in the Gilis "

"This was a lovely little oasis right near the port of Gili Air but very quiet. We could step out in the day and have everything at our doorstep. By evening, everyone had gone east or west and it was really quiet. It’s a great little villa and very comfortable. Loved it. Will definitely stay again."

"This place is incredible! We loved it so much that we booked to stay again a few days later.
The place is beautiful and so comfortable and relaxing. The location is quiet but just a 5 minute walk from the good snorkelling beach and lots of restaurants and bars.
The staff here are incredible - so welcoming, helpful and fun to be around. They do everything that they can to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you Adi and Maddi!

"Simply the best of the best! Modern, spacious, peaceful, and, most importantly, the staff are absolutely amazing. If you’re looking for a place where you can truly unwind, enjoy peaceful nights, and stargaze under beautiful skies, don’t look anywhere else. Highly recommended."

"The property felt almost abandoned. No one at reception at any moment of our stay, the housekeeping staff let us in. No restaurant, no help to book airport transfer as advertised on Hotels.com. Nipah beach is lovely, but this hotel is not as advertised."

"Pearl Sunset resort is the perfect location, long sunsets on the beach. The pool is large with lots of lounge chairs.
The front team, support team make Pearl Sunset so special!! Their welcoming smiles, always willing to help, exhibiting true humility at all times.
Junee in the restaurant is an amazing person that makes every meal feel special!!
Breakfast is amazing and a great way to start the day before exploring the Gili Islands and underwater.
They get to know you by name and greet you with the warmest smiles.
Truly a wonderful experience!!!
I will be returning next year."
"Hotel has seen some life over the years, so could do with a bit of refurb (rooms). But the outside area, garden, pool etc is really nice. You spend most pf the time outside and its lovely there.
Pool - big;
Palm trees - all around;
Right on the sea front - yes.
They have daily activities, most are for kids but still a bonus.
Gym is quite small but is open 24/7 so you can use it whenever.
Staff are of course great.
Hotel gives off ‘white lotus - hawaii’ vibes, but in a good way.
Breakfast is good, enough choice for everyone, both indonesian or continental style. Dinners (we had half board) were limited from actual ‘payable’ menu, but still good enough. Had new dish each night.
Location - interesting. Most hotels in senggigi closed some time ago, so only handfull of big ones remain. It is very different to Kuta in the south. The nature is picturesque going up north, so worth it. Take a bike to bangsal and have 5min fast public boat to gili islands."
PinkCoco Gili Trawangan - Constant Surprises- for Cool Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay at PinkCoco Gili T. The theme is tasteful and carried out very well throughout the property and beach! We enjoyed the saxophone player and fire dancer after sunset while enjoying a nice dinner at the beach. The pool and pool chair area is beautiful and quite large so feels private still even if others are enjoying.
I enjoyed a lovely massage at the spa. We also did a private boat snorkeling tour through the hotel on the pink boat which we highly recommend as our guide and driver was able to navigate between different snorkeling spots depending on how busy they were and the currents!
The fun surprises throughout the day and night were an added bonus! The staff had great care when interacting with guests and going above and beyond. We had a small miscommunication during breakfast and staff made it right immediately- we were impressed!"
"Some recent negative reviews claim Kayana's high 4.7 rating is misleading because it rests on old reviews. As a recent guest, I'll push back directly: after five days here, that rating is completely deserved right now.
The service is where Kayana shines. The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely kind throughout, going out of their way to arrange thoughtful little details they had no obligation to. I cannot thank them enough. I'll be direct, as an Indian traveller myself: the recent "rude staff" complaints came from fellow Indian nationals, and I found the complete opposite — nothing but warmth and respect.
The rooms are squeaky clean and spotless. The resort has its own private beach with calm water, and the snorkelling is a treat — colourful fish, healthy coral, blue starfish, masks provided. The restaurant, The Blues, has mesmerizing views and unforgettable sunsets. On a clear night you can even see the whole Milky Way.
One honest note: mornings can carry a faint smell of burning, as locals burn refuse — but that's common across Lombok and not something the resort controls. Older complaints about the call to prayer simply reflect that Lombok is the "Island of a Thousand Mosques."
Clean rooms, heartfelt service, a stunning beach and staff who treat you like family. A hidden gem, and an easy, wholehearted recommendation."
