"All good. Nice person in reception. The room was clean and not too noisy, even though it was close to the main road in to town. The shops are a short walk away and worth a visit! Lots of old buildings, good cafes and an excellent bookshop. Our only complaint was that the bed was a little hard. Everything else was fine!"

"I really enjoyed our stay at the Barclay. Our room was a bit 'spartan' but I like that and felt very comfortable. It was cozy and very clean and my parking spot was right outside the door. Fantastic location as well. View Street and the hub of the Arts scene felt just right. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. We didn't have breakfast but lived on snack foods and ate out at really great Thai and Nepalese restaurants. Bendigo has some great food places. All in I would definitely stay there again. I liked it so much I would buy a room there and live happily ever-after. Five big stars!"

"It was a very basic motel, but was perfect for our needs as we were only there to sleep each night. The beds were very comfortable, it had a microwave, jug etc. The pool was being used by people and seemed to be popular. We intend staying there again because of the really resonable pricing, and the convenient location."

"I wasn't feeling well & went to the motel at 1pm asking if we could get in early as I wanted to lay down. It was no problem at all, they were so helpful. I couldn't fault them. Our room was spacious & clean. Very happy to recommend this motel!"
