Nice spacicous rooms. One problem was the heat. No aircon. The outside temperature was particularly hot, 39°C. The room fan helped but other areas were extremely warm.
Still like this hotel and will stay again in the future.

The hosts were very welcoming and full of helpful information for eating options in the surrounding area.
The room was spacious and beds were very comfortable.

Just to be clear my scoring system:
1/ Don't go, just don't.
2/ I can't recommend going
3/ I enjoyed it but probably won't go back
4/ I enjoyed it, would go back especially if invited
5/ I enjoyed it, would invite others there myself
Complete luck we found this place but it is AMAZING! After introducing myself with my very best French I was answered with a handshake and in a full English accent "Shall we speak English? I'm John!"
The decor, garden facilities are only equalled by the homemade...

We had a lovely overnight stay en route to the south of France. We arrived quite late as we had been at Puy Du Fou during the day, but communication was easy with the lovely host. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to our enormous family suite. Breakfast the following morning was delicious - yogurt, fruit, croissants, brioche, fruit tart and coffee / hot chocolate - perfect to set us up for a long drive. The dogs were a hit with the children too.
We were sad to be leaving after such...

Beautiful unique property in the centre of Medieval Airvault .Coffee machine and kettle in the room for tea and a little cake was supplied along with a new fan which was much needed and appreciated due to the extreme temperature during our stay.
Lovely continental breakfast. Would recommend.

A one night stopover in an absolutely wonderful find, a place brimming with character and comfort.
Karine, the owner went out of her way to make our stay memorable, so thank you again!

We stayed here a few years ago as their first customer, and now we have stayed again—nothing has changed; it is just as perfect as it was before. The room is comfortable and cozy, with everything you need and beautifully decorated. The owner prepared the best breakfast of all the accommodations we’ve ever stayed at, even compared to five-star hotels.

The staff is FABULOUS. The food is outstanding. Kudos to Chef Benjamin.
The room was very clean even if somewhat austere. It was great for an overnight stay after driving all day. It is not fancy but it is what you need. The setting is quiet and relaxing.

Well, the owner went to the 'best boulangerie in France' to buy croissant and pain au chocolate for me - as I was the only guest.
What can I say? Delightful people, lovely breakfast and a nice hotel. Short but super stay in their hotel.
