"Beautiful old building but quite tatty and dated. The new section rooms are nicer (minus the linoleum floor). Area is very central and felt safe, although it is a mix of some beautiful old buildings and horrible 60s, 70s and 80s ones in quite bad conditions, that have destroyed the city. "

"Excessive and unjustifiable charges As a seasoned traveler, I was genuinely astonished to be charged over USD 82 to dry clean a single suit—something I have never encountered before at any hotel worldwide. Such an excessive fee is simply unjustifiable and reflects poorly on management’s oversight of guest charges."

"Staff, especially Valentina Eiriz. Our only complaint was it was difficult to regulate the hot water. Breakfast à la South America is a feast and this hotel did not disappoint. Would def stay there again."

"I arrived around 11 AM and was told the room wasn’t available. Because I was extremely tired after + 12 hours of flying, I insisted and was offered the room for an additional ~$75. It was the same room, not an upgrade, which made it feel like the room was already ready and that it was more about not allowing early access. I understand early check-in policies and that it’s up to the hotel. However, considering it wasn’t that early, it wasn’t high season, and I’m a repeat guest, I feel the situation could have been handled differently."
