"Was asked on arrival to block €200 on my credit card for any ‘extras’. I pointed out that there was no mention of this on my booking and in fact it clearly stated that any ‘extras’ would be invoiced at check out. The check in staff member, showed me that it stated this on another well known booking platform. I pointed out that I didn’t book using this platform, so his point was irrelevant. He did accepted this, but to compound the issue and make matters much worse, the next day, while we were out for the day, the hotel cleared out our mini bar. Treating their guests, as dishonest with no evidence for this whatsoever (and when the fault clearly lay with the hotels own information posted online). A lack of class. Such a shame, as the hotel was excellent in every other respect. So disappointing. We did eat in the hotels ‘Elba’ restaurant, but paid our bill at the end of dinner and purchased our own drinks for the room mini bar, subsequently."

"It was my first time in Malta. I had zero expectations and I was blown away. Especially how well kept the hotel was and how friendly and helpful the staff was. Rooms were clean and comfortable. When I checked out I was even offered a to go breakfast box as my flight was at 7am, which I couldn’t resist. Highly recommend this hotel and was worth every penny I payed. Will definitely be back :)"

"We had reserved a suite over looking the bay - amazing!!! The buffet was superb! Variety each night was wonderful! We had booked au bord so had buffets for breakfast and supper each day! Wonderful! No complaints at all. Location was fantastic."

"The room was spotless; bed, bathroom, mini fridge clean. A Cafe downstairs to take breakfast and there is another one across the road convenient if you want to eat in evening there. There is one smaller shops down a side street. A very quiet little village with a big church sitting in the center of it. The local residents are very friendly. A bus stop is only few yards away from the hotel but the No 46 to get into main Valletta town or to stop at connections can sometimes not arrive on its schedule time. If you want a quiet place to stay with no rabble noisy drunken people then I recommend this hotel."

"Had a lovely short break here, the staff couldn't be more helpful, it is very basic, but you get what you pay for. Room was cleaned everyday, was no hairdryer in the room but a quick ask at the 24hr reception got us one with no issues. The restaurant wasn't open as it was being refurbed (we was out of season) but the bar offered a decent breakfast and snack menu"
