Residence Capitaine Paoli had friendly staff and was in a good location near multiple metro stops. The neighborhood was lively, with much to explore right around the hotel.

The hotel is one block from the Colonel Fabien metro station and is in a safe area. My room was clean and compact with a spacious and modern bathroom and a firm but comfortable bed. I appreciated the coffee/tea unit and the fact that your key card unlocks the front door. The staff is helpful and kind. Just one drawback: the curtains are not a tight fit to the window and allow in light. This hotel is a good value.

Didn't like much about the property, lobby was clean, and that's about it. The rooms were not properly equipped with outlets near the bed, the shower head kept falling off, the air conditioning did not work for the first three days, couldn't leave the window open as it would be too cold at night an too noisy in the day. The breakfast was minimal when the coffee machine was working and three days the coffee machine was out. No food other than that on property and the Cafe they referred, across the street, was always closed except at nights for what seems to be private loud parties. Rooms were small, lamp on the bedside was loose so would rotate and fall down. TV is small size. bathroom and shower was clean though. Generally the experience was very disappointing, and I will not recommend this Hotel until they do some upgrade and much needed upkeep. neighborhood was not that great to walk alone at night.

It’s really a nice place with a huge big bathroom. The room is comfortable and there is a restaurant and supermarket nearby. Very convienet and super reccomanded.

The hotel was very nice, we liked the rooms and the location was convenient for us. For some reason they thought, because we are American, we can not eat a French breakfast, and insisted on bringing us cheese and meats and pancakes, even so we were not that hungry. It tasted very good, but was really not necessary.

Very clean hotel, nice staff not the best location
The breakfast is tasty but is very small portions of ham, cheese, and eggs, the other options are great. The service, in general, is great the staff is very attentive to fill your needs. the lady in the dining room was kind of upset as we arrive very close to 10 am so you should be on time for that to avoid bad feelings. Besides that, they have some stores nearby, the neighborhood is kind of sketchy and there are not really options to do there. The room was clean and comfortable, the room was nice and the bath was very nice, also it has safety boxes in the room. I would recommend to anyone that wants to be in a quiet and great place for a couple of days. The staff speaks English, Spanish also French.

Was greeted by Vanessa in a warm, modern ambiance. She helped me get my bearings and we had a nice chat about travelling. It was like coming home to a friend. The room was clean and safe, no noise, great amenities, walking distance to metro and shops. The morning staff went out of their way to help me find my way to the airport during the flooding when there were no taxis, and even lent me his umbrella for the morning! Will 100% return to this hotel as often as I can.

A clean and comfy hotel well placed near the metro
Clean rooms and comfy beds, but a few niggles. Shower head didnt fit into the shower attachment on the wall so either you held it by hand, or had it pointing towards you balanced on the bracket that was there. The hotel is opposite a pub which can be noisy at night, as is the road. Although fitted with double glazing, it can still be noisy and you have earplugs provided FOC. The breakfast is OK, a good enough selection of fairly good quality, although the ham, boiled egg and small luke warm hash brown weren't a hit with us. Clean, comfy and well placed for the metro, colonel fabien and a short walk to other metros and places to eat. We didnt explore the local area that much but it seemed it wasn't the best.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff
I would definitely suggest this hotel as rooms were very clean with most of the amenities available and overall staff but specially Philip was so helpful. Very close to Gare du Nord Eurostar station.

Room is great in terms of space, cleanliness. Modern well maintained room. Breakfast selection is so so but in the vicinity we were able to get great vietnamese restaurant with reasonable price which is a pleasant surprise. Drawbacks mainly in staffs who are not well versed in english. And when you came around the time they have their 20 min break, you may be clueless on how to get in. When you ring no one answers. Would help if they posted notice on the door when no one whould be available at the reception to open door or attending check ins - so guest knows when to come back.

Canal St Martin a liitle floating treasure
Not the greatest of areas but plenty too do and friendly people. Hotel clean and basic needs only. Good value if you can get a deal around Euro 70-75. The nearby two metros (Colonel Fabien & Belleville) work well and the nearby Canal St Martin is a good centre point.

Es war alles total positiv, sauber und einwandfrei. Außer einer Kleinigkeit: Der Nachtportier hat unsere Ankunft leider nicht mitbekommen und die Klingel nicht gehört, da er drinnen Karten gespielt hat. So mussten wir warten bis andere Gäste kamen und uns reinlassen. Ansonsten waren alle Mitarbeiter aber sehr freundlich und haben auch ausreichen Englisch gesprochen.

J'avais demandé une chambre tranquille lors de la réservation loin des ascenseurs et on m'a donné celle en face de l'ascenseur et donnant sur un resto-bar bruyant: fenêtres sans insonorisation. Impossible de dormir. J'ai voulu changer de chambre et la personne à la réception a confirmé que c'était complet, sans aucune sympathie. Pas d'excuses, pas de dédommagement. Ils auraient pu au moins offrir le déjeuner pour l’inconvénient. Hôtel parfait pour passer une nuit blanche.

Hotel en excelente condición,muy limpio todo. El personal fue muy amable al recibirnos. Lo único malo es que está un poco lejos del centro de la ciudad pero hay una estación de metro muy cerca y eso facilita la movilidad.
