Very well situated property. Minutes walk from Moulin Rouge, Sacred Heart, Gare du Nord and Little Africa. Can't beat the price. The hotel is very dated and in need of repair. The staff is excellent! I do believe I was overcharged but felt like it was an honest mistake, not a scam. Though I did not appreciate being charged an Olympics tax....in February! lol The cleaning staff gets started early making noise, The noise outside of the hotel never stops. Hallway/elevator noise is a constant because of the intimate closeness of the rooms. On one of our nights, we were awakened around 4am by a fire alarm. It was terrible, right out of a horror movie or dark comedy.

It was amazing.The stuff was very friendly and helpful.The room was clean and bed was comfortable.The hotel was close tourist attraction especially Sacre -Coeur Church Montmarter and also convenient to Anvers metro.I should add that price was good.

A shock to be asked to pay a deposit on entry, the hike in city tax doesn't help matters (but that is the French Government for you), simple accomodation, but clean and friendly staff, bed was very, very hard, but would consider booking again.

All the staff made us feel very welcome and helpful. Very well connected with the other areas in Paris. Only thing is the moquette in the property that needs to be changed and the door of the shower fixed better. But thank you, we still had a lovely time. I will consider coming back.

Very convenient for Montmartre and within easy reach of shops and restaurants. Metro station is just 2 minutes walk away and Gare du Nord is walkable. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was a good size and available from early morning. The area is a little noisy at night, but the room was pleasant enough. Could do with a few more storage areas in the room. Ideal for a short sightseeing break in Paris.

Would not recommend except as last resort.
Very small room and uncomfortably small shower "capsule". Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Had electric kettle in room with broken lid; no cups, coffee, tea etc or drinking glasses. When asked for a glass, we were told that the hotel doesn't have any. On the positive side, the window opened to allow fresh air and the pillows were comfortable.

Hotel staff barged into room at 6:30pm without knocking while I was getting changed. Brought it up with management and all I was offered was free breakfast - poor staffing. After that point was nervous about leaving my possessions in the hotel room as there was no reason for him to come into my room at that time - we had just checked in and the room was spotless. Did not feel safe or clean.

Pictures are deceiving.
Do not believe the pictures. The rooms are minuscule. The shower door was broken allowing water to come out. However, since there was no hot water in the morning, it didn't matter. The only good thing was the location. (They also say they have airport transport. They tried charging us more than twice the normal rate.)

Overall this was "not bad" for the price. The Regina is centrally located in the 9th Arr. That means PLENTY of cafes and restaurants available to grab a coffee, glass of wine or just a nice baguette/croissant. The area is relatively safe they definitely lock the hotel doors after a certain time and you must ring the doorbell and have the staff let you in. The room was "cozy" by that we mean "small" then again when you compare it to the price its "what you pay for" however we didn't plan on staying in the hotel. We literally used it to sleep and store our belongings which as you with think serves its purpose. Either way, lots of fun things to do in the area and super close to the Pigalle metro station. Unfortunately we didn’t have the best experience in the hotel. We wanted to stay for overnight payed for everything but couldn’t stay more than one hour! The day we went it was very hot and without AC the only small fan couldn’t keep the rooms cool. Although we had one more fan in the room but it was broken and not safe to use. After one hour we had to go and find an other place to sleep after our long 10 hour flight.

During stat AC was broken in hot weather in Paris. Water was cold for shower. Dirty carpet. Bathroom shower door broken. Flooded bathroom. Uncomfortable sofa bed. Insufficient electrical plugs. TV did not work. Coffee machine in lobby was broken, the towels delivered to room were damp and that was due to broken dryer ! Nothing in hotel was working. There was no time to change the hotel so we stayed but will never stay again. This business is looting guests and it is a dirty hotel that takes cash deposit and does not return until room is inspected before guest leaves - very humiliating. Will never stay in such private hotel that does not maintain standards. Only plus is location - close to Metro station Anvers.

the frontdesk man was very friendly and the service lady. the hotel is very small inside, the bed is not comfortable, it does not have a cafeteria; When I return to Paris I will stay in another hotel.

So the hotel has potential! Comfortable good beds ! But no hygiene ! We found medicin from the people before us and we had 1 towel meaning they rent the room early "clean fast" re rent it... Plus they ask for 50e cash deposit no credit card...

Very nerve wracking!
The check in was fine. The lift was not working and so people were running down the stairs as my room was adjacent to the staircase. You can hear everything form the room above and anyone in the staircase. On the last night a lot of noise from other guests, screaming and private noise from 10 pm on and off right up 3 o'clock in the morning and nothing was done.I think people were climbing out onto the roof, which was next to my room to smoke. A few things were not working the the room such as the toilet holder and lamp. I did mentioned to the front desk in case I would be blame for it. Two good things it was near Sacred Couer and Gare Du Nord, which I knew as I had to get to the station early in the morning. Also the man at desk Amrish, I think is his name, helped me with my luggage down the stairs.

Location good - close to Pigalle metro. Room not quite as expected from photo - small & dated. A number of faults (non working light & roller blind; shower ran hot & cold on occasions; no kettle & cups in room for tea/coffee. Biggest annoyance, however, was lack of consistent access to WiFi in room - there for a week & only managed to get on twice. Had to go down & sit in foyer for WiFi - simply not good enough! Would I stay here again, not likely.

The hotel staff were very pleasant and the entrance to the hotel was clean, bright, open and pleasing to the eye. By far the nicest on the street. We had a family room, consisting of a king bed and a sofa bed. This is what we were expecting as it was as advertised. However, the bed was a leather fold out, and the duvet had no cover, so I was not going to allow my 7 year old to sleep with a duvet which has been used hundreds of times by others, without a cover. Luckily for us our 7 year old is a hot sleeper, so we put the duvet under his sheet to soften the sofa bed for him. Our room was clean and other than an update and revamp, was all we needed. It was the bathroom that created our main disappointment. The toilet brush next to toilet was disgusting! It had faeces on it and who knows what else! The tiled walls were visibly dirty, what appeared to be faecal liquid splashed on back wall! The shower was also very variable whether you got hot water or not, but was fine. The owners need to place as much emphasis on the rooms and cleaning as they do on entrance!

Great option that won't break the bank!
This location was perfect for what we were looking for -- fun Friday night with access to Moulin Rouge, the nightlife on this strip, Montmartre, and Sacre Coeur. They gave us early check-in and held our luggage securely after check-out. Wifi was good, bed was comfy. Great shower. Definitely not your fancy hotel but perfect for us -- great value for the nightly rate. We would return.
