Would recommend, value for money. Very small rooms, we had two superior doubles which were very small but I knew that from reviews. Would stay again, but wouldn’t choose over another for same price closer to Latin district. Nothing wrong with hotel st all, just average. Had a good stay.

Convenient walking distance to galleries and museums. Near to Metro as well. Staff pleasant and helpful. Small elevator but interesting. Geraniums in flower boxes.Very memorable stay

Friendly & comfortable, great location
Super helpful reception, lift access, room very comfortable with new bathroom and balcony. Breakfast was good value and plentiful. Great location with bars, cafes, boulangeries and markets nearby, few minutes to Notredame, close to metro. Loved our stay here, would definitely stay again.

The staff was very professional and helpful. The rooms were a little tired looking but were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and worth the cost. The location was excellent. It was near a metro that took you everywhere. The hotel was in the Latin quarter. It is a very lively place. We would recommend it as a place to stay.

Overall good for the central location and price
The hotel was well located for the Latin Quarter. Two metro stops and the Seine/Ile St Louis 5 minutes walk away. Plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. Reception was newly refurbished but our twin bedroom was shabby with carpet and sofa in need of a good steam clean and wallpaper and paintwork very tired. Beds were very comfortable and the white bed linen and towels were clean which was the most important thing. The staff, with one exception, were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel itself is a typical of a Parisian hotels - overall clean and nice, refurbished, but small rooms. The big sell for me was the onsite parking, which turned out to be a disappointment as there's only 4 car spaces for maybe 100 rooms, so the chances of securing those spaces are almost non-existent and I had to park nearby which wasn't exactly what I expected plus it costed a lot more that I budgeted.

It is very unfair to complain regarding the parking option, just for your information only few hotels in all Paris will propose this service except if you book a Palace and even them have difficulty to find parking place in our capital city.We propose in advance to book for our client but of course we can propose a full parking, we have only 50 rooms not 100 and we are a little family private 3 stars hotel, you can guess we can't buy a 200 place parking for our guest. Regarding the rate it is only 30 per day, before to complain please look in Paris even the place on the street will cost minimum 47 euros per day and it is not private safety place like we propose, it is a very cheap rate for a main city like Paris.We accept critic but your comment is totally absurde, Paris is a big city and like all of them it is difficult to find where to park and the rate is very high, we precisely choose to do very cheap rate for our guest when we can rent it 50 to 70 min per day and be full all the year.Best Regards

The Hotel Minerva is quite quaint, clean, quiet, and nicely furnished. It it in a nice area and close to the metro station. There are lots of pastry shops, and restaurants in the area, so no need to purchase their available breakfast, which is nice, but not outstanding. It is very easy to get from the hotel to the sights you want to see.

Very nice hotel and the best location!
In general the stay was very nice. The staff was nice and helpfull! We had an incident where we were stuck in the elevator for 40 minutes and the help was very hard to get - but the hotel made an compensation by giving us free breakfast the day after! The room was very small but also cozy, so we made the best out of it. The air-condition was not very good, so it was so hot. And a request in the future, it would be LOVELY to get a mini fridge in the room, just so we could have a cold drink! All in all, it was a very nice experience and an AMAZING location to everything!!

Good locations close to all attractions. Near metro and has lots of restaurants nearby. However the air-conditioner was broken in a heatwave night and we were in a room facing the noisy Main Street, we couldn’t sleep at all. When I complaint this to the hotel staff, she said there was nothing they could do and they were also suffered!!! I kept complaining and we were given another room the next day. Other staff at the hotel are ok except this lady. The room has no bottled water nor mugs for tap water. No fridge no kettle, maybe this is the French style hotel that we are not familiar with.

I won't return here after my personal experience
Unfortunately my room was way too small for comfort. There was no space for my suitcase and I ended up having to move the bed (on its rollers) every time I had to get to a different part of the room as it would either block the suitcase or wardrobe at a time. The air conditioning was faulty and would trip an error code a few minutes or hours into the operation, after which the compressor seems to run at a slower rate and the output is no longer as cold. The shower was also horrible as it kept going from water that is too hot to too cold during a shower depending on the load in the building. The only good thing about this place is its close proximity to a Metro station

Staff were friendly and helpful! Room was small but clean. Breakfast (not included) was nice but simple. In Australia we would get tea and coffee making facilities so were a little disappointed there were none. Area was lovely and quite convenient. A lovely stay.

Rooms were small but adaquate. Carpets in desparate need of cleaning. We were on 4th floor and room was quite warm. When we'd asked why air conditioner wasn't working, we were told to open window. That didn't help since our room faced a small triangular courtyard so no air came in. Front desk people very friendly and helpful. Location within walking distance of Notre Dame.

Excellent location near metro stations and near Notre Dame. Friendly and very helpful staff. The room was comfortable but small, but this is normal in Paris. What I did not like and thus pointed with 4 stars some items in survey is that the hotel sent me an email 1 day before checkin, saying they would cancel my reservation. I made reservation for months in advanced, and the credit card I used for that expired, but this hotel said it would charge after my stay, not before. Please change that procedure because it works against you... suggestion, make the credit card test 1 or two weeks before guest arrival, not 1 day before!

The room we stayed in was rather charming in a medieval sort of way. However, it was a little "tired" looking. Furnishings, bed coverings, flooring were well-used! It was clean, however. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, in our room there was not a single outlet to charge our phone or to use a shaver or curling iron.

A comfortable place to stay in a great location. The location is ideal, with easy access to the metro/RER, several nearby points of interest (Notre Dame, Pantheon), and great dining options within walking distance. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and let us store our bags in their secure room between check-out and our evening flight. Like most hotels in Paris, the room was small by American standards - but we weren't in Paris to spend time in our room anyway. The hotel is generally not well-adapted for large luggage (the elevator is quite small and the rooms don't have much extra storage space), which wasn't a problem for us but something other travelers may want to be aware of. Overall, a good hotel at a solid price point in a great location. We would stay there again.

The hotel is in a great position to see all that Paris has to offer. Smallish room but we were hardly there and the beds were very comfortable. Helpful staff, nice little restaurants nearby and a short walk to the Metro. What more could you ask for really (except perhaps for a kettle and a fridge).

Location is superb.
The front desk people are so polite, kind and helpful. I walked to Notre Dam, up the Seine to the Eiffel Tower, to Hotel de Ville and to Gare de Lyon from this hotel with no problem.
