The staff were very helpful when an emergency arose.the room was modern but very small and the fan was not adequate in humid conditions.Batignolles district was major plus.

Localization was ok and pretty close to the metro station. But the room was too hot with no AC. During the summer that must be hot as hell. The elevator is terrible and super tiny. About the room again, we can hear almost everything that comes from the room next door.

Good location, room on the small side, we were meant to have a family room but on arrival was given 2 rooms, was ok as had an older child of 14 and a 6 year old but any younger and this wouldn’t have worked. Basic but comfortable over all

Worst hotel I’ve stayed at. When I checked in the girl at the desk gave me my room key. When I walked in the room it still hadn’t been cleaned from the night before so then she said “oops, I guess it’s not ready yet. Come back in a little while”. They lock the doors at night. I came back to the hotel around 12:30pm and had to ring the doorbell for someone to let me in. I rang it a few times. Then the doorman came over to let me in with the zipper of his pants undone like he had just put pants on. There were red ants in the bathroom sink. Elevator only holds one person. I left at 6am to catch a flight and I had to wait for someone to unlock the door to let me out. My Uber almost left me because it was taking too long to get out the door of the hotel. 2 star hotel on its best day.

We are absolutely sorry about the inconvenience when you arrived. Nevertheless, check in is at 2PM and before that time, rooms are not assured to be ready. Still, we are sorry for the false hope. There is always a receptionist at our hotel, 24 hours a day. That is considered a huge plus since it is more secure and more convenient for our customers. Sorry for the delay in opening the door, please note the sense of service is a top priority for us and we let know the receptionista bout this delay. Beware room 81
Great location, good ameneties, comfortable bed, good shower, friendly service(except from one guy, who was a bit of a d&$k). The only problem was my room, #81, had no windows, I had to sleep with the door open into.the courtyard to get any air. Despite repeated requests, they would not move me. I guess someone has to have to worst room and if it had been made clear on the booking process that I was getting a room without windows at a discounted price, then I may well have chosen it. As it was, I thought I got yet another bad end of the deal as a solo traveller. Other than that, I thought it was a great hotel for the price.

Toilet smells so bad, there is definitely something wrong with the swage. No space to move around the room. Looks much bigger on the website. Towels and bedding smell bad.

Brilliant, lovely hotel, weren’t sure on the honesty bar as advertised and was disappointed to be charged €5 for a bottle of water. I understand you don’t need to provide the water but I wouldn’t charge that much for something you can get for €0.70... and maybe get do not disturb signs as cleaner did come in first day but that didn’t phase us up Or down as end of the day she was only coming in to do her job :) which by the way was put on.

Many stays at Hotel Du Mont Dore
I have stayed in this hotel since August 2000. I have recommended it to my family and friends because of its cleanliness, price and location. I have seen many decorating changes throughout the years. All have been nice. On this visit I reserved a room for my sister and it was very unsatisfactory (#83 by the cafe). It was smelly like sewage, the door did not lock properly and there were no shelves or closet to store her belongings. The opaque glass door allowed too much light in the room, and didn't give her a sense of privacy. There was a lot of remodeling during our stay. My room (#16 or #12) was satisfactory. However I had reserved a twin room, not single bed. It was not available when we arrived. We got a small refund for the difference. I was told our breakfasts were included when I booked the room. When I checked out I was told they were not. I paid for them upon departure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially the young man who checked us in. The rooms were very clean with new linens. The convenience of the airport shuttle was very nice! After all these years, I believe the next time I visit Paris I will choose a different hotel in the same area.

Good choice, you will not regret.
This hotel is very good, a few blocks from the subway, a few stops from the Louvre Museum. When you make reservations, make sure you request a room next to the elevator or you will have to go up pulling your bags. Also there are two very good restaurants coming out on the left of the Hotel, one block in the same direction there is a store for getting good fruit and wine if you must. Finally, the staff are very helpful and friendly.

When we arrived, the lobby and garden were in the middle of construction, offering no semblance of comfort or any of the amenities we were promised. Although the first concierge we talked with was incredibly helpful, the rest of the people that we interacted with ranged from apathetic to plain rude (one time the hotel was even locked, a person came by and unlocked it in 5 minutes but when it’s midnight and you want to go home, that’s insane). Rooms are clean and nice, but there was no kitchen facility at all (no fridge or water boiler), the kitchen sink barely ran, and the WiFi struggled to support two people on their phones doing basic functions. Area surrounding the hotel is beautiful & safe and actually one of our favorite Parisian neighborhoods and transport around Paris is incredibly easy due to the proximity of metro stations and bus stops. However, of the 4 days we stayed there, 3 days we opened the elevator door (tiny elevator just as an FYI it’s Paris) and it would be full with cleaning supplies and vacuums. We were on the fourth floor, so this was very annoying on most days until our last day, when we had 3 suitcases and the situation went from annoying to angering. Our stay in Paris was lovely, but a hotel under this much construction should either be closed right now until renovations are over or be offering the guests compensation and/or an alternative method of receiving the amenities they were promised.

Under renovation, but...
Outstanding staff, really, it’s definitely a hotel I’d book again. Would’ve given it a 5/5, but they were under renovation and it is difficult to review it, however, I heard no construction noise throughout and the public areas were incredibly clean inspite of construction works. This shows how great they are. The area is great if you don’t like to run into too many tourists and the metro (Rome and Place de Clichy) are only 5 min away. There’s also a few shops around with great food offerings (french and international). Brilliant placement!

Nice location in the city and near to the subway.
I had forgotten my fall jacket in the room. I contacted them through email asking me to send it to me, I would pay for the charge of the courier but I didn’t have any feedback. Very dessapointed.

quick stay
I didn't stay long because my trip was short but they were very welcoming the minute I walked in and they accommodated me the best that they could. There wasn't any language barrier either so I felt comfortable.

The stay was ok, room is very basic but close to main attractions in Paris. There was no shampoo or toothpaste provided in the bathroom. Also, the staff charged extra 2 euros per cup for coffee on the last day however, we read on the other reviews that morning coffee was provided for free.

What's more, the breakfast is included in some reservations and not in others, be aware when doing your booking ! Those who didn't make a reservation with breakfast included can add it for 7 euros or take a simple cup of coffe for 2 euros. It is the same for all of our guests. Cozy hotel good location bad breakfast buffet
Overall i cant really complain about the hotel. It was as expected, small but cozy, decently clean, rather sufficient for our needs. On the other hand i have to condemn the breakfast. At 10 euro a person you would expect a fulfilling breakfast as advertised but no, we were very limitted. There was breads and jam to studf yourself on, 2 types of cereal (really ordinary kinds) , as well as only plain yogurts which we couldnt eat because it was left out of the fridge to long and was filled with clumps (started going bad).. we were given 1small cold pancake each and 1 boiled egg each (2 people) and when we asked for more obviously seeing as how we were hungry, we were told there was no more pancakes or eggs even though breakfast was ending 2 hours later. If we had it bad i can just imagine those who ate after us.
