"Fijn, "jeugdig" hotel. Nette kamers. Jammer dat de airco in deze maanden nóg niet op koelen staat.
Te warm in de kamer.
Fijne regendouche, ik mis alleen een handige handdouche.
Ontbijt is prima, personeel is vriendelijk.

Hotel, organised transfers to and from airport, incredibly efficient both instances,
Check in very fast, reception took us to our great room.
We asked for assistance with reservations and site seeing and the staff were always willing to assist
Excellent service in bar and cafe,
An expensive hotel, but you get what they advertise withiut exception,
Absolutely brilliant.
Pity more hotels were not like this

I e-mailed the hotel asking for a canal view in advance after reading other reviews, and on our arrival the lovely receptionist showed us to our superior double, four poster room, with 2 large windows overlooking the canal, with gondolas sailing below, and the occasional sound of accordions and singing, which was fabulous! The room was spotless, bathroom too, good shower and fluffy towels.

Everything about the Centurion Palace is excellent. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are fantastic - helpful; friendly and courteous and the whole experience is luxurious. We enjoyed our stay so much last year we returned again for 10 days this year and it was even better. A wonderful experience!

Our first time in Venice, and we found this hotel was ideal, situated across the road from the water transport hub. The room was clean and comfortable, overlooking the lagoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast food was of good quality, and the hotel was clean throughout.

I booked to stay at Ca' Pagan just a week or so before going to Venice and chose it due to its good reviews and also the gorgeous look of the hotel. We were given the Marco Polo room which was lovely and had a nice big bathroom with a nice walk in shower. The decoration of the hotel was beautiful with luxurious marble, glass and fabrics everywhere and it was a very comfortable stay. The staff were all lovely- from the receptionists to the breakfast staff who kept breakfast open for us even...

This was our third visit to The Riviera and our reasons for returning was the excellent service and accommodation previously provided.
On this occasion we discovered that our booking didn't include a room with a balcony - important for my wife's need for easily accessible fresh air.
After making our concerns known the Manager Piero Padovar make a phone call to me in the hotel and said that we could move room the next night - at a very reasonable additional charge.

Great hotel. Loved the breakfast basket every morning, really started the day well.
Excellent location - not overly crowded with tourists (yes, I know...).
Shower could have been better - it was hand-held only which was a shame.
Great service though, and would totally stay again. Air con was nice and effective even in high temps.

We have stayed in many nice hotels in Venice but Charming House is certainly our favourite - all the comfort of the larger hotels, but much more personal and indeed 'charming'! For our 4 nights, we were given an upgrade to a 'charming' room in the DD694 annex (about a minute's walk from the main hotel). Our room (and all of the public areas of the hotel) was beautifully decorated and equipped. We had a wonderfully comfortable bed, a coffee machine that actually made decent coffee, wi-fi that was...

When you see people lugging their bags all over Venice you realise how wonderful this hotel is. Very close to the grand canal. The best thing about our stay was the very friendly staff and how welcome they made you feel. They all spoke English and that helped enormously.

The staff are relaxed and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are great with fantastic views. There are seating areas to relax if you want to chill out. I have stayed in venice many times and this is my second stay at M & G. It's definitely my favourite hotel.

Lovely hotel, really friendly staff who showed us where everything was, which water bus to get etc. Close to what is a lovely seaside style resort so restaurants, ice cream, beach etc. within 10 minutes walk. Only minus is that the bedroom was very hot at night so difficult to sleep.

The rooms are modern and sleek. Clean and well maintained. We would recommend to family and friends without second a thought and happily return if in Venice.
It is a pleasant walk from the boat stop and from the hotel along the water front to San Marco Piazzo.
The worst bit was how form the mattress was, it was uncomfortable faulting the ability to sleep but that's the least of complaints to make when presented with a great hotel.

Outstanding small hotel on Giudecca with friendly service, charming rooms and quiet location. Breakfast excellent. A number of good restaurants nearby. Vaporetto services a few hundred metres away.
After many years visiting Venice this is one of the best place we have found for the price and ambiance.
