"The grounds were beautiful. The pool was warm and clean..a car is needed as there is not many places that are safe to walk to. The description says there is a beach, there is no beach on property or walkable. We had an amazing dinner at Portale nearby recommended and arranged by owner. Amazing dinner but no real town to walk about. This is a great place if you have a car and want to explore nearby beaches. Close to the train station. "We checked in on a Monday and this property exceeded our expectations. We’ve stayed here in the past but now it’s under new management and it makes a huge difference. The property is not far from the city centre and is very accessible. Would stay here in the future for longer stays."

"The highlight of staying here was the delicious restaurant (la locanda) — we ate there two of our three nights and both meals were great! the property is not really close to / walkable to the beach (Riaci Beach). we did it on the first day and while it’s only a little over a kilometer away there are many hills to navigate and would not recommend it. The room and shower were smaller than expected from the photos online (the outdoor terrace was bigger than the room) unfortunately it was too hot when we visited to really enjoy any outdoor space (also it’s not very private…). Pool was lovely and cocktails poolside were very nice!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was well kept and clean and there was a very nice homemade breakfast offered every morning. The location was good, it was a short walk to the restaurants. The beach was a little further, but still close enough. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall it was a very nice stay."

"The hotel was above my expectations and went beyond what I thought it would be like. The breakfast was lovely. The staff was so helpful and everything was super super Clayton. I loved that it was next to the train station because you can hop town to town yet you are so close to the city town and walk to it and the beach shuttle was very convenient."

"Very much enjoyed our stay at this small, 10 room boutique hotel. We were there for a two night stay mid week in July - hotel seemed about half full and we had the pool to ourselves. A couple major things to note here: Breakfast was INCREDIBLE! Particularly for Italian standards, which let's face it, are not very high. Everything was home made - including the croissants and baked goods - and an omelette and fresh squeezed OJ were available on request at no extra cost. Seriously a great amenity that we had forgotten about since our stays back in the Dolomites. Pool was also very enjoyable with assigned loungers from our room for the duration of the stay. Staff was great (Thanks Dominico!) and there's free on site parking in a garage underneath the hotel, which was super convenient. Room decor was not exactly our style, but the room was superbly clean and AC was crisp and cold. Easy walk to town (no sidewalks so be careful!). Made for a great base to explore Tropea and could easily see staying longer to explore more spots on the coast. Overall a great experience!"
