"The staff is very helpful and responsive. Make sure you either have a car or plan on using Uber, since most places are about two miles away. If possible, try to stay on the Broadway side, as some of the side streets seem a bit sketchy. Also, some websites say you only need to be 18 to check in, but the hotel’s website states the minimum check-in age is 21, so keep that in mind."

"At almost a thousand dollars a night; you expect more out of a property. Feels like a $129 hotel in any other city. "

"There was a commotion involving a guest who was screaming and crying about her boyfriend who had beaten her, and he was trying to get into the locked lobby when I arrived. He beat on the door and broke a portion of the french door mullion, he then ran off and had to be caught by police. The woman "victim" was staying just down from my room, and continued to make loud noises with her door open until after 2:00am. My door locking mechanism only worked intermittently. Handyman "fixed" it, but it still didn't work well - door would not open with three different keycards. Interior "hardwood" floor was filthy. Remote control had only a few features on it and I could not get a channel "Menu" with the small remote. Reception office did not know how to operate the TV. Numerous guests were loitering on the nearby stairs well into morning hours (2 to 3 am) smoking marijuana and speaking loudly. "

"We love this funky, retro historic hotel in which every room/suite is something a little different. The room we had this time sported a tiny "Juliette" balcony overlooking the street. The decor (nautical theme with clean lines) was a nice break from the pastel/seashell/kitzchy rooms we've stayed in before. There was plenty of closet space, and even a tiny kitchen that did not, however, have a sink despite a coffee pot, microwave, dishes, etc. Convenient 20-30 minute drive to the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, our main destination.
