"An excellent property, good location, we took a bus from the train station to property, then took a boat to Portofino. Very good service, as we have to leave early next day before breakfast time, the staff prepared carrying out breakfast for us and arranged taxi for us. We highly recommend this property."
"We had the Portofino room, which featured a gorgeous sea view. The entire villa is phenomenal, each room is a work of art, with vaulted ceilings and original artwork. Breakfast was a delight, with fresh fruit and veggies, perfect portions and honey from the property. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful during the stay. I would recommend Villa Gelsomino in a heartbeat."
"From the moment of arrival to leaving, we felt warmly looked after with exceptional attention. The hotel is in a wonderful position in that you do not need to use a car once you are there as everything is workable. Charming little Paradise on the edge of everything in Portofino."
"Beautiful hotel with a great included breakfast, a relaxing spa, delicious onsite restaurant, helpful staff. Great location in Old Town, near the water & train station."
"Very attractive location . Great front desk stuff especially Tara and Franchesco . Very good brekfast and walking distance to the main street plaza and harbor."

"So rarely do you actually get a 5 start hotel that actually lives up to that accolade, but this one does. Room and property was beautiful, breakfast and bar lovely but the staff throughout excelled and actually made the 5 star service you would expect. From check in, to bar staff, restaurant and room maids everyone made you feel welcomed with so many little extras to spoil you and make your stay that little bit more special. Truly an excellent stay. Thank you so much."

"While public parking is the only option, bell hop service was excellent. Hotel is so conveniently located only 100 yards from the marina and with dozens of stores and restaurants within a two minute walk. Very clean rooms, highly attentive staff and excellent breakfast. Highly recommend."
