A place of extreme peace. Loved our stay even if the endless Christmas music over 3 days really became a bit too much.
The location is gorgeous, the staff and locals are all so friendly, the view is amazing and the climate is utterly perfect. Crisp mornings and evenings, perfect for sleeping, and bright, warm sunny days.
One thing to note. We travelled from London and whenever heading west jet lag always has us up at 4-5am the first days. I love a morning coffee, my wife a tea. Unfortunately...

A stunning property with amazing views. It is nestled into the side of the mountain and designed to make the most of the lake views. There is lots of attention to detail. My room was beautiful and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were great, which also had a lake view! It was nice to have the Guatemalan breakfast included in my rate. There isn’t anywhere else that’s walkable. All the staff were lovely and made every effort to ensure I had the best stay. I used the hotel’s recommended...

A peaceful sanctuary right in the middle of the tourist area. The spa area is really good, if your pool is not quite hot enough they turn on the volcano and bring it up to proper onsen temperature, which is pretty cool. Very clean rooms. We didnt have breakfast as the hotel is surround by eating options.

This hotel is in a prime location on the lakeside. It’s also in easy walking distance of Panajachel with good restaurants.
The staff make this place and couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. The gardens are well kept and the restaurant food was fair value. However….
Unfortunately the room looked like a motel pull in. We could have been anywhere. The decor was retro 60s not colourful Guatemala. The room was large but the bathroom not well appointed. A tiny sink, tired and hanging on the wall...

great staff at hotel smiling and polite, upgraded for free, very clean, quiet and comfortable room set on lovely gardens. Nice swimming pool a bonus. All local amenities a short walk away would definitely stay again. thanks

On top of hotels with indoor pools, what does Panajachel have to offer?
Panajachel is the perfect place to enjoy the lakeside setting and beautiful gardens, so what are you waiting for? Book a hotel with an indoor pool to make your trip extra special.
What is there to do in Panajachel?
After a few relaxing laps in the pool, head out and visit some of the noteworthy attractions in and around Panajachel. Consider a trip to Lake Atitlán, Casa Cakchiquel Arts Center and Panajachel Municipal Market. A few other contenders are La Galeria, Azul Maya Archaeological Museum and Piedra del Zope.
Why should I choose a hotel with an indoor pool for my stay in Panajachel?
You won't be unhappy if it starts to rain during your stay in Panajachel, as you can go for a splash around the hotel pool. Especially given that most indoor pools are heated. If you’re searching for a hotel to take the family for a couple of nights, pick a winner with an indoor pool.
