"After traveling 10 hours by bus from Cartagena, I was relieved to have arrived at Pavo Real. A wonderful vegetarian restaurant was on site and I got the room with a private pool. Such a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is happy and you are well taken care of. I’d stay again! I loved it here. The room was clean and cleaned daily. Easy to walk to town and you can eat every meal at the hotel if you don’t want to eat in the main town proper. I’d definitely recommend staying here!"

In my opinion, the only downside was the poor communication from the staff and the lack of managerial oversight. There was a power outage during my stay, which is not uncommon for the area at this time of year. However, the lack of any meaningful communication from the staff turned a mundane situation into an unnecessarily uncomfortable one. "
