"The ocean was visible from the restaurant and pool. Great food at the restaurant. We had the Tico Roll, hamburger, Hawaiian pizza cooked in a wood fire oven and a chicken wrap. All were splendid. Excellent choices at the breakfast buffet. Lovely maintained pool with a bar that had a happy hour. The only drawback was the steep walk to our room, to the beach or to get to the main road which was a km away. It didn't bother us but if you don't like a challenge grab a can. Rides in a golf cart we're provided if needed. Beach was excellent but wear swim shoes because of the lovely lava rock. Plenty of restaurants within the km. The staff was extremely friendly. So happy with our choice."

"We loved the location and the staff. We didn't love the fact they shut your water off in your room and dont turn it on til 0700. Other than that, we would definitely stay there again. Wonderful beachfront with chairs provided for free."

"A fantastic boutique place! 20 individual bungaloes, each with own, private outside area for sitting and enjoying native foliage. Beautifully appointed room, with 2 beds and couch. Indoor and outdoor showers for your room. Beautiful landscaping along walkways and pool areas. Secluded beach with loungers. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Spa massage was wonderful. Restaurant portions were generous, tho menu was somewhat limited. Service was very good. Would definitely stay here again. "

"We loved staying at Maranez Oceanfront Resort!!! We cancelled another place to stay an extra night and would have stayed more if we could have!!!! There's a gorgeous beach steps away from any part of the resort. The Staff were amazing... so sweet, friendly, helpful and professional. Muchas gracias, Renzo and Caroline 🥰 (They also speak English very well.) Our room was beautiful with an ocean view from our porch. We couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere to rest, relax and appreciate the ocean. Unbelievable sunsets every night, too. Cannot wait to come back!!!!! Asta luego, Maranaz... ❤️"
