The property is in a generally poor condition clearly demonstrating the lack of a maintenance program. Walls show damage, light fittings need to be replaced carpet mats fraying and very poor, carpet, curtains, vanity in bathroom, all need replacing. Interior plastering and painting all need rather urgent attention.

Lovely hosts and good location. Bed configuration works well with queen and single in lounge area. Having an oven works well for a family wanting to make their own meals. The decor is dated, and walls are thin. Thankfully our neighbors were quiet for the most part. Parking on site is a plenty, and in the summer the pool must be a great addition.

The body gel dispenser appears to be an ornament in the shower cabinet. It was always empty. We were provided with cakes of soap, which causes dry skin on some people including us. Water from the fridge leaked, flooding the kitchen

Clean & neat. Space was a bit small but good for winter when it’s cold. Great drainage for the shower. Happy with that as most motels have problems with the shower drainage!

I actually loved the room me and my son stayed in, had everything i needed kitchenet, sky and even had 3 single beds and a double and a out side pool. 2km away from town& a hop skip and jump to their main park. If i was to come back to Palmerston north this will be the motel me and my kids will stay at.

Basic Motel with everything required. Unfortunately the Motel made an error with our booking and instead of getting a studio spa unit I got a standard studio unit for the same price which was slightly annoying. We did like the Sky box so could pause and rewind which you don't get at all motels, but the Kitchen was very small with minimal basic utensils, very old stove, no salt or pepper. The toilet was put between a wall and the shower and as a big guy I couldn't fit on it properly - not good. The shower itself was good. The bed was relatively comfortable, room nice & dark when curtains were pulled and the fan was a welcome relief from the heat. Overall comfortable enough (except for the toilet) but a little underwhelming. We did swim in the pool but again this was underwhelming - Cloudy water, lots of broken tile surrounds, untidy gardens, broken pool cover. Better than no pool though given the heat!

The bed was old and uncomfortable as had roll together . The decor dated and in need of a revamp. Wasn’t clean and a lot of maintenance required. Walls so thin that you can hear the people next door.

Booked over 2 months in advance requesting a ground floor room, Arrived after 8 hour trip paid then was told we were up stairs. While offering to move us down the next day this did not suit as we had functions to attend during the day. We were too tired to look for another motel The poor girl on reception could not understand why we had been put up stairs. Will not be using this place again and will certainly tell everyone about this most unsatisfactory event. If I had pulled my stitches climbing the bloody stairs. The papers would have had a field day,.
