Very stylish hotel - but 15 min out of centre of town, and food and drink very expensive. This is INdonesia - why are we paying £3 for a small bottle of mineral water, and £10 for breakfast? Also ... Accor makes a big noise about sustainability - but still provides guests with water in single use plastic bottles. Get with the programme! Provide us with water fountains/dispensers and reusable containers for our rooms.

Love the decor and layout. Disappointed with hotel services (the human side, the hospitality). Not sure if their good spoken English translates to good understanding and effective action. Information abt Le Club Accor was by discovery. Found brochure left at reception and on shelf. No hotel staff enquired if I were a member. At chk in, we spent a good half hour or so, arguing abt Expedia Price Summary. Hotel staff kept saying it was a deposit (when I showed her Expedua document). Night before chk out, we went to reception to pay final bill. Billing items were incorrect. Charges for driver incorrect. She had to call hotel rep to confirm. Charges for F&B without 30% discount for Le Club Accor mbrs despite giving thm my mbrship number at chk in. Paid bill after finalised. Next morning, we were walking to the car for airport txfr whn recption staff hurriedly walked up to us. He asked if we chipped the edge of room kettle. I replied, it was already chipped whhn we came in on 1st day. I actually took a photo of chipped kettle on our 1st day, thinking ahead that hotel might blame us for it and demand to charge it. He apologised. Overall, the "not human" side of the whole experience was great but not the reverse. Novotel is a brand. Hotel staff must keep up with the brand. I would give 2 star for the hotel services based on my 3D2N stay at Novotel Palembang.

Nice hotel for relaxation or business stay.
Stayed in this hotel twice and will stay again. Reception staff(guy) a bit stiff, no priority given despite being an Accor Plus member to check in early at 12pm, have to wait (excuse- room not ready). Follow up with another lady staff half hour later, then only ok to check in.

Nightmare. We been robed in hotel exit gate.
Awful security. Two men with motorcycle robed us only 2 meter from hotel exit gate. No security guard or security camera outside the gate. No compensation from the hotel. We lost 3 cellphones, money, passport, credit cards, jewelries, 2 Ray Ban sunglasses, handbag & 2 wallets (Michael Kors & Balenciaga). Old hotel. Very expensive, unreasonable price for food & drinks. Bad service from Palembang city immigration when we tried to fixed our travelling document. Real nightmare. The only good thing is this hotel have a very pleasant staff & Palembang city police also very kind & helpful.

Booked for a double bed but was given 2 singles instead. Room not up to my expectations. No minibars as mentioned in the hotel descriptions and needless to say about having a microwave. We were only provided with coffee/tea and a kettle. Not worth for the price we had to pay.

Overall I would rate the hotel as excellent. However, the 1st day as soon as my wife & I entered the room, someone called to ask me to pay the room charges, which I had definitely paid online! After my argument, it was quiet.... But the horror haunted back at the last evening before our check-out! First, we were locked out of our room; so we had to return to the Receptionist, which is a distance away, to get both our proximity cards reset! Then, at about 11.15pm, when the hotel guests are supposed to rest, we got a call to ask me to settle the room charges again... Of course, I disputed. But, I could not sleep well after the incident! I hope you can forward my feedback to the hotel management to look into this serious breach of guest' privacy and bad manner of the staff, which reflects their poor training....

This hotel was a total disappointment to me on my third day there. I have bear with the air conditioner which was not functioning properly during my two days stay and on my third day when I decided to extend my stay I asked for a transfer to another room. At first I was asked to wait for the room. We waited and was unable to leave the hotel before we have the new room. Two hours later I called up as there was no news and was again asked to wait which made me really mad as I have waiting for more than two hours. In the end we were asked to wait while they check for the room. We mentioned to them that we have alot of things to carry and requested for a bell boy but none were available. Finally we were transfer to another room which was so far away it was even worst then our first room. With anger I called up reception to make a complaint. In the end we didn't really enjoy our stay there as a result of these poor services. I was not asked for a deposit on my first day there, but instead was asked to pay for a deposit on the third day. Bookings were all fully paid and yet I was told that I have only paid for the first day and was charged again. This was ridiculous and if the person who had done the bookings was not myself, they might had cheated them and asked them to pay for the 2 nights. This is a four star hotel and is this the way they train their staff and run the hotel?

Fantastic experience
The best hotel you can find in Palembang. I would choose over other hotels in Palembang if I have another chance to visit this town. There is not much to see in terms of sightseeing though. I was told the spa offers great service as well even though I didn't have a chance to use it. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean.

便利なホテル
初めてのパレンバン旅行でしたが、快適に過ごす事ができました、リゾート地や観光地ではないので、ホテルも少し心配でしたが、部屋も広くアメニティも充実していました。掃除も丁寧にされていました。買い物も徒歩圏内に大型ショッピングセンターがあり、便利です。小さいペットボトルの水は無料だと勘違いしていました。デポジットで15000円ほど支払いがあったのは驚きました。後、せっかくのベランダに椅子などが何もなかったのは残念でした。でも、次回パレンバンに来たときは、やっぱりこのホテルを利用させていただくと思います。いろいろ親切にして頂きありがとうごさいました。

De ansatte var veldig trivelige. Til å begynne med valgte vi å sjekke inn noen minutter etter at vi kjøpte oppholdet gjennom Hotels, dessverre tok det litt tid da de ikke hadde fått det inn i systemet deres. De tilbydde oppfriskende jus for begge av oss. Vi fikk etter noen minutter beskjed om at rommet var klart, og vi fikk gratis frokost gjennom hotellet. De ansatte ved frokosten elsket oss, og det samme gjorde vi. Jeg og min kompis var veldig pratsomme og fant mye til felles med de ansatte ved frokosten. Takk til dere alle ved frokosten! Jeg ser VELDIG frem til å reise tilbake til samme hotell. I tillegg til trivelig ansatte, så hadde hotellet alt det vi trengte: basseng og treningsstudio. Det var også et kjøpesenter rett ved hotellet, og man skulle trodd at det skulle være en del bråk pga. at vi var så sentrale, men tvert om - hotellet er gigantisk så det var veldig utelukket fra sentrums bråk.

Hotel con piscina exterior y bar
Hotel correcto. Aunque el precio es algo superior al de otros en Palembang, tiene una piscina exterior y un bar donde tomar algo/comer/cenar. La piscina es lo más significativo.

Hyvä hotelli Palembangissa. Vieressä ostoskeskus, sekä hyvä paikallinen ravintola, Seafood. Lähellä on myös hyvä golf kenttä. Hotellissa uima-allas, sauna, hyvä kuntosali. Isot huoneet, myös perheille useammalla makuuhuoneella.

パレンバンリゾート
部屋のタオルが日によって用意されてなかったりする事があったが、スタッフの挨拶が爽やかなのは良かった。朝食にジャムー(インドネシアの滋養強壮剤のような飲み物)があるのはおもしろい。近くにptcモールがあるので、買い物には困らない。

Kami menginap 2 malam, kami menginap hanya sekedar refreshing keluarga. Stafnya ramah-ramah. Lobi besar dan nyaman. Anak suka dg kolam renangnya yg jernih. Saat itu ada renovasi di area sekitar kolam. Kamar juga nyaman dan privasi terjaga, free wifi, luas, terasa seperti di rumah sendiri. Kebetulan kami dpt kamar di lantai 2 dg view taman. Selain itu lokasi hotel berdekatan dg mall PTC dan tempat makan yg bervariasi, sehingga memudahkan utk memilih makanan selain makanan order di hotel. Secara keseluruhan hotel ini begitu homey dan bikin betah, terutama utk keluarga.
