"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Hesperia during our first trip to mainland Spain, where we were attending a wedding in the region.
Before check-in, we were offered a great-value upgrade to a terrace room, and it exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised to have the entire corner terrace to ourselves, with beautiful mountain views. It was definitely worth the upgrade!
The hotel was easy to find, and there were plenty of great brunch spots within walking distance. We also appreciated the 24/7 vending and hot drinks machines in the lobby, which were really handy for snacks and drinks.
Our room was cleaned daily, with the bed made and amenities restocked each day. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, particularly when explaining how the laundry service worked.
The only slight disappointment was the laundry service. My partner’s suit jacket was considered too delicate to wash or press, so it wasn’t done, although we weren’t charged for it, which was appreciated. My partner’s shirt was pressed and charged for, but unfortunately it still had some noticeable creases afterwards.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend Hotel Hesperia. If you have the chance, the terrace room upgrade is absolutely worth it!"
"This five-star stone hotel is a true gem. The manicured gardens are stunning — every corner immaculately kept, perfect for peaceful morning walks. But what truly elevated our stay was the staff: warm, professional, and attentive at every turn. The management clearly sets a high standard, and it shows in the seamless, thoughtful service throughout — from check-in to housekeeping to dining.
A beautiful property backed by a team that genuinely cares. Highly recommend! Management should be proud!"
"Unfortunately no supper served the night I was there & my flight was too early to have the breakfast. Fortunately hotel is very close to airport, about 1/2 mile, which turned out to be important as my taxi did not show & I had to walk dragging my suitcase & carryon. Staff very helpful when I arrived."
"The hotel isn't manned and 2.5km out of town. If you're walking Camino, its not in a good location.
If you're driving, its good and the view is nice.
The dogs are noisy next door and church bells (opposite) are both late and early.
The hotel is reasonably new and beds comfortable. My shutter didn't go all the way down which let light in.
I had issues with communication twice, no reply."
"The desk people were very nice, specially Karla. The location is great! And it has a garage!!!
Room was very clean, shower did not work that good but we managed ."
