It is elevated away from the foot traffic of Paihia which is a nice change. The dvd library was a welcome blast from the past. Modern, excellent views, captured the sun, warm and clean. Would stay here again. "

"Comfortable room (ambience 'slightly dated/well used'), containing kitchenette and all the gadgets we wanted. The wooden upstairs walkway to our room seemed slightly shaky but in reality wasn't a problem. The location is excellent, at the heart of the town and close to the ferry pier."

"Outstanding - I could not rate higher. Fantastic location with waterfront view, spacious and with full kitchen WITH THE TYPES OF UTENSILS YOU WOULD HAVE IN YOUR OWN KITCHEN - not just the "tick box" commonly found. Unit was clean, and instructions on check-in and processes clear and straightforward. This is not the first time I've gone to Paihia - and the accommodation here was head-and-shoulders better then anything I've had before."

"This motel is very nice, comfortable, has everything you need. Even a continental breakfast for $19.00 NZ dollars choices of cereal, toast, spreads, fresh and tinned fruit, fresh crossants,tea,coffee . Amazing owners and staff, i had a studio unit and it was roomy comfortable, clean,tidy, tv. Close to shops, eateries and tours all in a 15 minute walk. I will go back.."

"This property was walking distance (10-15min) to the main town centre and eateries while being away from the hustle and bustle that comes with most town centres. The staff of the property, Angela, Stacey and Keri, were extremely friendly and welcoming, without being too forward. They were happy to guide us with good recommendations, and assisted us with booking some of the tours we were looking to do. In short, this was a great find and we'll return to Admiral's View Lodge with friends and family soon."

"This is an older hotel but if you’re planning to stay out most of the day it is perfect! It was clean and the staff was SUPER friendly—honestly my favorite part of our stay there. Everything is within walking distance of the hotel but I felt it was far enough away to get some peace and quiet. "
