"We had a lovely stay in family room. Spotlessly clean. Jo & Martin were very welcoming & helpful , nothing was too much trouble.There were Dvds/Books available for the kids to borrow. Tea/coffee & biscuits in the room. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice, including fresh fruit ,cereals, full cooked breakfast options. Very close to the town & seafront, both only few minutes walk .We definitely hope to return soon, & would recommend this lovely guesthouse. . "

"A lovely warm welcome from Cathy room basic and dated but there are plans to update the whole hotel to bring it into line with what people expect but I really hope they stay true to the legacy Cathy and her husband have taken 38 years to build. Nostalgic is the best word I can use took me back to my childhood and my Nans B& B days in Southend. Great

"Beautiful B&B on a hill, but walkable to the bay and wharf and many dining options. The Bay Area is a little tacky with pin ball, casinos bars etc, but we had a very nice dinner at a spot called “Local” and it was walking distance to our lodging."
