"The location is beautiful, but remember - it's 15-20 minutes from the city. So, if you need anything, it's not quick to get. It was too cold to use the pool, but we used the hot tub. We paid extra for the room with the "deluxe view" and we got ... the view to the pool! :( If you are tall enough (which I'm not) you probably would see the lake, but I didn't. The ice machine in the building didn't work for all three days that we were here. The fridge didn't work in the room when we came, but they moved us to the next room very quickly. I'd say $20 for breakfast buffet is a little bit pricey, but the buffet is great! All the staff is very nice and friendly. The entire resort is beautiful and they are pet friendly!"

"Clean and central hotel, but we learned at arrival that the swimming pool was not available. When asked why they did not let us know beforehand (the pool has been closed for a week at our arrival), they blamed hotels.com, saying they were the one to let us know, as a third party provider. We called hotels.com: they told us they were not informed. They were the only one to compensate us with a voucher in the end. The only option of the reception staff was to propose a free cancelation (of course not an option to be without a room when you arrive with a 5 year old for a night) The hotel was able to send us ads of tours via hotels.com messages, so they should be able to let their customers know about the pool. We could have modified our reservation accordingly. This is a deep lack of transparency. "
