Such a beautiful hotel check in process was lovely, rooms interconnecting as requested, staff so absolutely lovely. The pool area is flawless - massive choice of pools, lovely warm water, good food and drink choice round the pool. Also open 24 hours so we went for a starlit float down the lazy river which was magic. Lovely hotel, loved the jacuzzi, pool and play areas. Also can borrow beach chairs and sand toys. My son and I loved it.

I cannot recommend this resort enough. The condo is good sized with high end full size kitchen and laundry facilities. The living room opens on to a spacious balcony through openable doors with a view of lagoon and golf course. The fact that there is daily housekeeping is a huge plus. Beautiful hotel with large pool areas. Completely separate pool for children meaning the pool area for adults was calm and peaceful. Definitely need a car as the hotel is not near Carlsbad itself or the beach and is a good 30 miles down the I5 from San Diego. Loved the ocean front room.The location of the hotel is central to everything.One way to the beach the other to the shops.Room was bright,spacious and clean.

I would love to return to this hotel but will wait till it's finished! Spacious condo like apartments with everything you need, including washer, drier etc. Large comfy bed, large bathroom. Good size balcony. Various pools including a quiet one if you need to chill. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times the food was excellent! As I said the only downside is the building work, we were next to one of them, work starts early in the morning even at the weekend. it was noisy!
