Overall an amazing and gorgeous place to stay. No fridge or TV in the room we stayed in which was unfortunate for us but not a necessity to others.

Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay
I have stayed here a few times...the last 10 years ago. Property is just as lovely with updated rooms and a very kind staff.

The Monterey Hotel
Location excellent by the warf and by the pier all within walking distance staff excellent historic hotel. No closets or any place to hang up your clothes. Nothing fancy. But it was a good place to stay
