"Outside really didn't look like the picture. It was concrete like. Parking is all down hill which makes it somewhat difficult to walk up and down to the car. We had a corner room so had good views but a little outdated. The sitting chair looked bad like something from an old garage sale maybe not very clean.. if the chair was replaced it would have been better. Beds were okay. Breakfast had hot buffet but the same exact thing everyday no variety"

"The staff was extremely rude. The TV didn't work. They said the whole area was out. I looked out the window and see Super 8. I called them. They had tv. We went for our 38th Anniversary. There was a lot of teenagers running up and down halls yelling. Will Not be back"

"I appreciated the included buffet breakfast every morning. The cleanliness of the property and my room was very good. I also appreciated the location close to the landing, outlet mall, shows and most attractions. The best and most important part of my stay was the wonderful staff. The staff were all very helpful, extremely friendly and seemed to really care about hospitality. I was very impressed and would not hesitate to come back and will."

"The people at the University Plaza were great. Very pleasant and friendly. The room was not great. It's old and outdated. The bathtub was dirty and stained. It definitely needs to be replaced. There are no USB connections anywhere in the room. The carpet is worn and also in need of replacement. This used to be a great property and was one of the nicer places in Springfield at one time. Those days are in the past unless they upgrade and clean the place up a little."

"We enjoyed the spacious cottage, how clean everything was, and that there was a restaurant on site. However, the pool was pretty dirty (the small one) and they called me two days prior to check in to tell me the waterpark would not be available during our stay, this was my daughters birthday trip and the waterpark on site was the entire reason we chose the property. Had they called when we could change plans and get our money back, I would have chosen another place to stay. But we were stuck. They offered no reimbursement for the fact their biggest quality was unavailable even though I messaged them about it, and they answered with a comment about check in time which was not what I emailed about. Disappointed to say the least, but despite that had the waterpark been functional and the other pool clean it would be worth the money. had to spend extra to go to another waterpark."
