"Well appointed room with lots of room and a comfortable bed. A large balcony had a partial ocean view where we could watch the Quadra ferry come and go. The door to the balcony had a good seal and we could not hear any outside noise once it was closed. My only issue was that although check in time was listed as 3 pm, the room was not ready and we had to wait for about half an hour. The included breakfast had a good variety of choices."

"We were upgraded to a beautiful room which was appreciated although it lacked some finishing touches such as a reading lamp and closets. The restaurant was disappointing- food was mediocre. Beautiful location."

"I had a wonderful experience at Bayview in Courtenay. Tracy was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made everything feel comfortable right from the start. The entire team was flexible and accommodating, always doing their best to create a pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. Overall, they truly went above and beyond to make sure guests felt happy and taken care of. I would definitely recommend this place!"

"Very nice resort. Room was quiet and bed was extremely comfortable. Great pool, gym and sauna. Only used the hot tub briefly as it was very popular. Something that might help guests is if there was a 30 minute time limit for its use. One group used it for over 2 hours. Beautiful views from our rooms. My daughter has the coast view and I had the mountain view side. I had afternoon sun on my balcony and Beautiful Sunsets. The front desk was very helpful. I have a perfume sensitivity and the washed all my bedding, towels and robes in unscented soap for me. The only thing I would recommend to management is to consider changing the bathroom soap products to a local BC company with a lighter Natural scent. Thank you Naturally Pacific for a great stay!"

"Staff were pleasant and the room was well cared for and comfortable. Grounds are park-like. When I asked to confirm if the room faced the golf course and had a patio, the front desk person did not seem to know and said if the picture on the web said it did then it did. We noticed a few glitches in the restaurant with people beside us informed there was some confusion with their order resulting in a long delay, and our wait staff saying she forgot to enter one of our orders. The resulting delay affected the preparation of the other order. They did correct it. Also, someone was doing something involving a machine on the golf course at 6:40 a.m. which woke us up. Perhaps this is to be expected if staying at this type of location. "
