Overall a very good place to stay. Wished they had something for Brealfast besides coffee from a machine. Bathroom did have some caulk with mold on it that should be replaced but overall I'd stay thete again and not a lot of options in Owosso.

Property was easy to locate and get into. Nice, spacious rooms. The staff were friendly. The attached restaurant had really good food and staff. The beds were too soft for us tho. Didn't sleep too well. Will check to see if all beds have same softness before booking again. Overall, very pleasant stay.

My room was great except the toilet kept running all night long. The other guests on my floor were very loud and their kids were screaming and running the halls. The staff was great.

The bed was to high to get into easily. Only one chair in the room and it kept sinking after I raised it up. The hot and cold selection on the sink is backwards. There were no Charging ports.

Marijuana dispensery next door. The smoke from that place permeated the hotel elevator and entrance. All furniture was scarred and poor condition. Carpets worn out. Tub fixtures in need of replacement. Cigarette burns on tub and carpeting.

Stay somewhere else, it’s not worth the cost.
I reserved two adjoining queen rooms a month in advance, but when my husband went inside to check in, the woman at the desk said she didn’t see that anywhere in the notes and she would have to charge us more to have adjoining rooms because they don’t have queen adjoining rooms. When I talked to the same woman 5 minutes later, I told her I had an email with the request for each room stating it needs to be adjoining. She said yes she seen that, but the Hotel didn't reserve it that way and there wasn’t anything she could do except move us to a king suite and charge us more for each room. I told her that was unacceptable we can’t have our kids in a separate room down the hall and we shouldn’t have to pay more for their mistake. In the end she let us have the adjoining king suite for the same price the first night, but we had to pay more for the second night. There wasn’t any breakfast being served, the restaurant doesn’t open until 2:00 pm Monday through Friday and isn’t open on Sunday. We stayed here previous to Covid and this was an acceptable hotel for the price, now the price is outrageous with poor customer service, no breakfast, and limited hours and days for the restaurant. I told the front desk upon leaving that we will not be returning to the Comstock Inn. My recommendation, save your money and book at the Curwood House in Owosso, which we have stayed at and is very nice, or The Pines motel in Owosso, which isn’t anything fancy but is nice, or stay in another town.

Booked a king room, stated it wasn’t pet friendly so instead of a 35.00 fee was charged 100.00 pet fee. Towels are paper thin, refrigerator quit working took 2 days to get that fixed. Day lady wasn’t friendly at all. The gal that worked afternoons was very friendly. They aren’t the greatest at keeping things cleaned either.

Enjoy location, close to where we were going and to restaurants etc. Price is good. Pool area floor is very dangerous for everyone, once that tile gets wet it’s very slippery, seen two children fall while heading to the pool. Bathroom could be cleaned better around sink and toilet.

Not as pet friendly as they advertise
Booked a room via hotels.com app and my account with a hotels.com gift card for a 1 night stay while traveling with our special needs rescue dog, Moon (rear amputee). After departing PA at 5:00am on Thanksgiving, traveling to MI and our families house, spending the day with our family and then arriving at Comstock Inn later in the evening on Thanksgiving to check in, we were told the non-refundable pet fee was $100.00. Even though the hotels.com app and Comstock Inn disclose a $35 no-refundable pet fee per stay for non-service pets. When I questioned this, we were told it was because we didn't book a "pet friendly" room (there is not option to book a pet friendly room) nor does the Comstock Inn disclose it has to be a pet friendly room anywhere in their disclosed fees and policies. Being tired and ready to call it a day, I handed over my debit card and paid it. Then to my surprise they actually charged me $106. Used to stay here all the time when visiting family for the holidays, but never with our dog. Due to this recent visit we will never stay here again and just stay at a hotel further away from family. Hotel hasn't been updated in years and is very outdated. Much better options in Flint, MI that we will be booking moving forward.

Hotel was really clean, quiet, staff was super friendly and helpful. Pool was heated and a nice touch, super clean pool area too. You don’t see this kind of property around this area very often. We will definitely be back!!

Have had better stays here
Room was very outdated. Bathroom not very clean. Pillows were old and flat. Elevators were really dirty. Not having the Continental Breakfast is a huge dissappoinment. Your prices went up and services went down. I stay here quite often and am usually happy. Not this time!

Going downhill
I am from Owosso but live up north now. Through the years I have stayed here dozens of times. The bathroom was not very clean. The towels were old and scratchy. The pillows were flat and old. You increased the price. Took away the continental breakfast. I hate to see this hotel go downhill. And thats exactly were its going Sad to see.

Clean hotel....but lacking in comfort.
Overall we had a good experience. My two complaints would be dry/scratchy bath towels and crappy pillows. So not great on "comfort" level, but service was good. Oh.....one addional complaint...the pool was NOT heated. It was super cold.

Lovely and comfortable!
It was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the sitting area with the fireplace. A little pricey but so very clean and convenient to everything. Only 2 rooms were left when i checked on it, so we feel fortunate to have gotten it.
