"Nothing about this stay met even basic expectations. The room did not have a microwave, and when I went downstairs to use the shared one, there were multiple ants crawling on and around it—completely unsanitary. The air conditioning in the room barely worked, making it uncomfortable. The overall cleanliness was poor: the floors were not properly swept, the hallway and stairs had not been vacuumed, and there was a noticeable unpleasant smell throughout the property. The doors also appeared poorly maintained and unprofessionally painted. Customer service was equally disappointing. When I called to ask about checking in slightly earlier, the staff hung up on me. I had to call back multiple times before finally getting through. Based on the condition of the room, lack of cleanliness, and unprofessional service, I would rate this hotel an F."

"Hotel Lobby, parking, and entry were being remodeled. But Hotel still functioned very well. Staff very friendly. Room was nice."

"The room was clean, however, you could tell someone had smoked in there. The staff at check-in could use some training. We entered with 2 staff at the counter, they were not on the phone, and looked at us as if we were disturbing them. Then both got on phone calls, before speaking to us. And...their music of choice was a little loud, & not very appropriate. The morning staff, was much better, music wasn't as loud, & the station had been changed. Breakfast area was nice, and very accommodating. It was nice to be able to stay/park there and walk through the gate into the Ark Encounter. "

"Simple checkin and parking. Hospitable staff. Undergoing renovation in main areas, which I knew when booked. It should be nice when they are done. Spacious but outdated room. Carpet was very old and stained and smelled like dog when we did not bring a pet ourselves so shouldn’t have been put in that room. Pet rooms should be allocated to guests with pets. Breakfast subpar. Walkable to historical downtown which was really cool. Also had free trolley tour hop on and off which stopped right inside parking structure. Very convenient. Did chocolate candy tour and was fun. "
