We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a longer trip to the USA. What a beautiful location & place! We were lucky to have a room which looked out onto the lighthouse. We loved the spacious room & the old furniture, it was all very fitting for the location. It was lovely to sit & read in the veranda rockers in the warm afternoons after a busy day out! The level of hospitality was excellent from the housekeepers & we liked being able to help ourselves to breakfast & drinks from the 'help yourself'...

We had an amazing stay here in Ocracoke. The team were super welcoming, the room was excellent, the restaurant opposite great food, near the beach, beach kit included, bikes and a lovely place. Strongly recommend!

We had a very nice stay, the Inn is in a nice location, has a great restaurant and the rooms were very clean.

We have just spent two nights at the lovely Harbor Inn on Ocracoke Island. We stayed in a Standard room (1st Floor Harborfront King with a private deck). The room was great. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. There was also a little kitchen area with a fridge, a microwave and coffee making facilities. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck reading and watching the harbour views. Breakfast was included in the room rate and is served in the building opposite that houses the hotel reception. This...

Clint the owner greeted us and made us feel special. He and his team truly knows the meaning of hospitality. We had two rooms for the four of us. Both were superb. We also had a tour of the other rooms and all were beautiful. I work in high end hospitality and this place is fabulous. Clint also gave us some really good tips on where to dine. Spot on. Anyone visiting the Manteo area should book this place. A gem for sure. The attention to detail in each room is sublime.

We loved our three days at The Pamlico Inn. The staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast sitting outside overloooking the Pamlico Sound was very special and we got a great ‘grab and go’ breakfast when we had to leave early on the Friday morning! The location of The Pamlico Inn makes it easy to access Hatteras Seashore and Ocracoke both of which are very beautiful. We’ll return to England with lots of lovely memories and hope to come back and visit again.

The First Colony Inn is a lovely old property in a great location for visiting the Outer Banks. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Buffet breakfast choices were very good and the hot option varied each day. There's a wonderful beach opposite the inn and a good selection of restaurants and shops nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Really amazing property. Great rooms and facilities.

Friendly check in, we had a suite but disappointing that although full kitchen there is no dining table & chairs. There is a small sofa with small table tray and a pull out table on wheels with computer chair, so eating a meal tricky. No easy chairs either. Wish i had just booked a standard room. Breakfast not to my taste To get to beach you have to cross a road and obtain access via their swimming pool and boardwalk.

What amazing hosts they were truly brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us helping out and going beyond expectations. You would not find nicer people and the room was lovely in a great location. Also great to have Amazon prime and other channels available and good WiFi.

Hotel was excellent, but out of season not many places to eat. Beautiful location almost on the beach.
