"The two things that stand out to me that I thought were top notch were the convenience of the location and the excellent service by everyone who worked there. The room was not above average but everything else was. I enjoyed having breakfast on the patio each morning and I loved sitting in the garden right outside my door. "Un lugar muy bonito y tranquilo. Vi algunos colibris en el jardín y la familia es muy bonito, habla Quechua y español. Es un camino corto desde el centro de Otavalo pero sentí seguro en caminar allí. So much quieter than other properties in the center of the city. Breakfast is simple but sufficient and I felt safe walking to and from the downtown area for other meals. The owners are wonderful and speak Quechua as well as Spanish. Some beautiful long-tailed hummingbirds were out in the garden."

"We could not have asked for better service and hospitality from Jose and staff at this hostel. In a great location close to all amenities and transport right outside the front door. Room was spacious enough with TV and great wifi, cleaning daily and really hot water in the shower. Fridge available in upstairs communal kitchen and free coffee/tea. Jose was always helpful with information and put us in the right direction with helpful hints to make sure we had a good time in Otavalo. Our Spainish...
