A pleasant stay with a few practical drawbacks.
The trullo was finished to a high standard, with excellent use of the limited space. It was very clean on arrival, the beds were made, and both bath and shower towels were provided. The sofa converted into a comfortable bed for our son. The kitchen was fully equipped with a dishwasher, cooking utensils and an outdoor barbecue, and the house also had a washing machine.
The outdoor area was lovely and peaceful. The small jacuzzi was enough for cooling down, and our son enjoyed it. Ostuni was also reasonably close by car.
However, the access road was in very poor condition and difficult with a low car. Small crawling creatures entered the rooms at night. The bathroom door did not close properly, and the lock did not work. The jacuzzi became dirty, there were no instructions for adding chlorine, and it stopped working on the second-to-last day. Wasps also made outdoor dining difficult, although they did not sting us.
Overall, we had a good stay, but the price felt slightly high considering the size and difficult access.
