"We had a fantastic stay at Harwelden in the Sycamore Suite. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable, even leaving a special gift for our daughter in the room. The grounds are beautiful and the house is immaculately restored. There are many common areas of the house open to all guests, from a cozy listening room downstairs to a game room on the third floor perfect for kids. "Bathroom light did not operate. Transferred to another room and the thermostat did not work. Worked the HVAC unit manually. The commode has a bad flapper and every 10 min or so the commode had to refill. Requested room service to replenish tissues at mid morning. Six hrs later task was not complete and visited front desk for service. Overall the place was clean however housekeeping and maintenance needs improvement. "
