"Excellant breakfast choice and period of which this was great. Gym facitilities were ok but not all appeared to be in working order. Cleaan pool. Jacuzzi, steam roon and sauna. Grounds were nice and well kept."

"This hotel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast had excellent variety and really nice. Room was large with a a separate sitting area. My husband didn’t like that the tv was in the sitting area so he couldn’t lie in bed and watch tv but I was really happy about that! Hot tub on our balcony was a delight. Cocktail bar was fab and was the pub and the food on offer. Loved our stay here"

A great hotel in the most stunning setting! We have had the perfect stay! Great walks around the lakes and mountain opposite. Literally minutes walk into beautiful Grasmere. "Receptionist chap. Was v patient. We swapped rooms 2 times and settled on the 3rd. Wish was fantastic. Bar staff were great too. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening but breakfasts were great"

"Stayed here for one night in a multiple beds room. Room was spacious and had all we needed. I would definitely recommend opting for the lake view rooms as the view is great! Both members of staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again."
