"I was there for only 2 nights, but was completely fine with the guesthouse. The room was very comfortable and clean with a balcony. The contact person Luigi is very friendly and informs you upfront with any services. Some cafes and bakerys are reachable in some minutes by feet."

"We only spent 1 night in Messina and it was quite difficult to find this apartment but once we were in it was great - lovely balcony over the square and easy walk to the station"

"Pros:Antonella and Rosario, our hosts, were super friendly and helpful in settling us into our room, and giving us information about the area. Our room and facilities we could not fault. Location within walking distance to historical area and local restaurants. Parking was relatively easy.
Cons: We checked in on a Saturday and the street noise, that night, until 230am was quite distracting. Sunday night was far better. Left on Monday so cannot comment on weekdays.
Overall a very positive experience."
"Lovely hotel, very comfortable beds, great service and staff. Breakfast was great also. Great for visiting Messina, close to all attractions including the Duomo. Great theatre across from hotel with free concert and lovely restaurant up the side street next to the theatre. Great view from room, we were able to watch the arrival and departure of many ships including cruise ships and the boat trains."
"This place was excellent beyond my expectations. Room was clean had a balcony with great view air conditioning worked with was a plus quite at night close to water it was well worth the money "
"Very beautiful building with comfortable beds. The breakfast was very tasty with many choices. The staff was very personable.
There was some construction going on in the building which disrupted my husband's sleep about 9 AM.
