Location was exceptional - view off the back deck where breakfast was served had a boat dock and off in the distance a fantastic view of ruins up on the far hill that was also lit up at night. Easily walkable to plenty of restaurants & shops. If you rent a boat to tour the lake and river they will pick you up right at the hotel. The hotel owner was delightful and spoke perfect English so it was easily to get help.

Very simple place - no TV in room but basic WiFi. A beautiful location on the river with fantastic views of the tombs from riverfront decks backed by gardens.

Fantastic peaceful location on the river.
Had a two night stay in this family run little hotel. What a wonderful position on the river with fantastic views of the Lycian tombs. Great to sit on the river edge platform watching the boats on their way to and from “Turtle beach”. Do not be put off by the 10 minute walk into central Dalyan as it is worth being in a more secluded spot. The breakfast is basic and fresh and we ate out in the evenings at nearby restaurants which were excellent. Would be very happy to return for a restful mini break or start a more extended visit to Turkey with a visit here to unwind. Really pleased to have found the Happy Caretta .

Absolutely stunning. Just so beautiful. The owners couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were typical Turkish couldn't fault the rooms clean and spacious. Shame we only stayed for one night next year I am taking my family for longer. We could sit by the the side of the river it was just a wow view. We caught the river boat to turtle beach from the hotel that was just fantastic. At the other end of the beach is a turtle hospital. I would recommend this small hotel to anyone a good 5 min walk away from the little shops and restaurants. Shame we didn't have time to eat there but the homemade food came well recommended. The beds were so comfy we were all asleep in minutes. We came out of the hotel for 11.30 but they looked after our bags until we went at 6pm. We loved every minute in this hotel just so friendly. We also loved every thing about Dalyan it's just stunning.

Beautiful positon on the river, lovely hosts and staff, such a relaxing place for our two week stay. This is a small hotel with a delightful Turkish simplicity, very clean and welcoming. We watched turtles swim by in the river and having the tombs for a breakfast view never failed to impress. The lush garden felt like a true oasis of peace and tranquility.

Awesome hotel with great waterfront view

Otel nehrin hemen kenarında ve kaya mezarlarının karşısında.Bahçesi harika.Huzur veriyor.Botanik açısından ilgi çekici.Otel sahipleri güleryüzlü,kibar,yardımsever.Otel çalışanı da öyle.Otel önünde park var.Dolu olsa bile hemen karşı sokak bomboş ve park için uygun.Park sıkıntısı yaşanmaz.Uzun konaklama için oda büyüklüğü yeterli değil fakat dalyanda uzun konaklama çok tercih edilmiyordur.Merkeze yürüme mesafesinde otel.Birkaç gün kalacaksanız gönül rahatlığı ile tercih edebilirsiniz.

Konumu çok çok güzeldi. Otel sahipleri çok naziklerdi. Odalar biraz küçük ama idare edilebilir. Tekrar Dalyan'a gidersek yine aynı yerde kalabiliriz. Münir bey İlknur hanım herşey için teşekkürler.

Otele girişte küçük de olsa bir otopark mevcut. Kapıda geniş ve botanik bir bahçe misafirleri karşılıyor. Tamamen ağaç gölgesinde kalan dinlenme alanları bulunmakta. Odalar otantik yapıda döşenmiş çok temiz. Banyolar ideal boyutta, sıcak su güneş enerjisinden sağlanıyor. Klima var, mini buzdolabı yok. Otelin kendi iskelesi ve üzerinde geniş bir şezlong alanı var. Dalyan suyuna buradan girilebiliyor. İskeleden tekne dolmuşlara binilebiliyor. Kahvaltı oldukça güzel, birçok yemek reçel, domates biber evde hazırlanmış yada otel bahçesinden doğal ürünler. İşletmeciler ve çalışanlar ilgili ve güleryüzlü.

Otel sahipleri nazik ve güler yüzlü insanlar. Otelin bahçesi ve manzarası gerçekten çok güzel. Kahvaltı da gayet yeterli ve doyurucu. İlknur hanımın nar reçelini denemelisiniz. Otelin benim gördüğüm tek eksiği odalardaki ses yalıtımı. Yan oda WC ışığına basınca fan da otomatik olarak çalışıyor. O fanın sesi ise doğrudan sizin odanıza giriyor. Yan odada normal sesle konuşan birisini duymak için kulak kabarttığınızda kelimeleri seçebiliyorsunuz. Neyse ki Münir bey bizi kırmadı da koridorun karşısından bir oda tahsis etti. Yine de sabah şöyle ona kadar uyuyayım gibi bir beklentiyle gitmeyin, çünkü seslerden uyumak imkansız. Diğer iki eksiği ise yatakların sert olması ve odalarda mini buzdolabı olmaması (zaten koyacak yer yok çünkü odalar çok küçük). Bir miktar yatırımla düzeltilebilecek bu eksikliklerin dışında şirin ve huzurlu bir tesis.

Die Aussicht von der Hotelterrasse ist ein Traum. Leider sind die Zimmer recht altmodisch, das Licht im Bad so schwach das man sich kaum im Spiegel sehen kann. Einen Handtuchwechsel gab es nicht. Filterkaffee und Saft gab es nur gegen Zuzahlung zum Frühstück.
