"The hotel and restaurant staff were wonderful! We ate dinner at the restaurant which was great! Our room was nice but it was a little noisy and we did get smells from the kitchen. The porch was lovely and we went out there even though it was a little chilly as they had blankets to use."

"beautiful area. perfect location on the fjord. clean place. very charming. Each room is different which adds to the charm. the only complaint I had was room 6 (small single room) bed has a very large dip and needs to be replaced. It's too uncomfortable to use. Would go there again."

"We had a brilliant room overlooking the waterfront with a full glazed screen; I would say 50% of the rooms offering a view of the waterfront have such glazing and the rest will offer a view through a smaller standard window. The communal lounge with its enormous modern feature fire place offered heat from a continual log burning fire was a nice addition and there were a variety of good seating areas elsewhere."

"We found a stunning refuge in the hotel Union Oye. The place is so beautiful and you feel like you have stepped back in time. The staff are very kind and helpful. The floating sauna was a highlight. I would love to go back there again!"
