"The stairs going into the cottage were falling apart with rusty nails exposed. The room still had hair in the bathroom shower, partially painted wall, smearing from people’s hand on the bedroom walls, the list goes on. The dumpster right outside the cottage was overflowing with garbage, all the outside trash cans were full of beer bottles & teach"

"I ordered a non smoking room. What I was given was a room that smelled like it was heavily smoked in for years! With no other rooms available we had to stay. I will not book this property ever again!"

"Loved our stay at the Holbrooke Hotel. Highly recommend. Pros: Our room was clean, comfortable and simple, across from restaurant / bar; Food and libations at the GoldenGate was exceptional; service at both hotel and restaurant was outstanding. Frittata, scones and coffee were fresh and delicious the morning of departure. Cons: Walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors in the hallway. No closet, no dresser, no wine glasses, no robes, no TV in room; although, you can request most of these items from the front desk at no additional charge."

"We had the quaint 2 bedroom family room. The place was a nice surprise clise to downtown. We had a comfortable sofa, dining table with chairs, as well as a couple of counter stools at the kitchenette. It was equipped with glasses, cups, bowls, dishes, flatware, a toaster, coffee machine, electric kettle, microwave and mini fridge. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Would definitely return. Thanks."

"The room was clean, smelled like cigarette smoke, which I asked for a non-smoking room. The bathroom had ear stains along the shower. Parking convenient right outside our door, not in the best neighborhood. Woke up to our car alarm going off. The staff there was pleasant. The pool was not working. It was filled with sand which that was not in the description when we booked."

"Staff was friendly and the air conditioning worked well. Easy check in. The office was locked in the morning when we went to check out but there was a convenient key drop box. The room itself was clean but I was not so sure about the bed. The blanket underneath the sheet was dirty. Not the best night of sleep."
